If fans were a little disappointed with the falling standard of previous issues they were in for a treat with the fourteenth issue of Ant News Today. Even the front cover oozes the new exuberance issue thirteen had, in hindsight, had only hinted at.
And the boys in the Ant camp use a fail proof technique of winning back subscribers - grab an ex-Ant to talk about the glory days of Punk and present the transcript to a waiting audience. It may be very cheap but it's very effective - something the late issues of Kevin Cann somewhat lacked. The gloss and showbiz had undoubtedly returned to ANT Towers - or indeed that was the impression Adam wanted to achieve.
So the first half of an interview with the First Lady of punk dominates this issue with topics covering diverse issues of the first Ants gigs, cat breeding and favourite perfumes. But what about actual Ant news? Well did we tell you the one about the new movie? No?! Nor do ANT! Just a quick list of Adam's current favourite tunies!
