Celebrating the Lives of
Lisa J. Pink (1960-2000)
and
G. Keith Rogers (1981-2000)
On December 2, 2000, Lisa Pink, her son, Keith Rogers, and Keith's fiance' Laura Taylor attended the third birthday party of Lisa's grandson, Royce Purcell III.  At approximately 6:40 PM, they left the party so Lisa could go home (she had to be at work at 5 AM the next day) and so Keith and Laura, who lived with her, could go to the grocery store.

About half an hour later, Keith's father, Greg Rogers, left the same birthday party to head home.  He came upon an accident and was routed down a side road.  At approximately 12:30 AM, Greg received a call from his daughter, Kiley Purcell, informing him that Lisa and Keith had been killed in the accident he had been routed around.  We learned later that Laura was in critical condition and not expected to survive the night and that the man in the other vehicle was also severely injured.

Keith was killed instantly in the accident.  Lisa died enroute to the nearest trauma center.  Laura did survive her injuries, but was hospitalized for over a month.

Lisa was 40 years old.  Keith was 19.
NOTE:  This site is designed not just as a memorial to Lisa and Keith, but as a demonstration to those who may drink and drive of the devastation they could cause.  The photos below of the vehicle(s) are graphic but we want the impact of those pictures to remain in the minds of those who may consider driving under the influence.  We live with those images every day.
NOTE:  Anyone with photos of Keith, Lisa or Laura that you would like to include on this site should email them to us using the EMail Me button below.  If you aren't sure how to do that, click that button and let us know and we'll walk you through it.
For frequent visitors to our site, we have added links to jump you from page to page so you don't have to go to each page to get to the next.  You may continue to do so if you like, but you can also just skip to whatever you'd like to see by clicking on the links below.  Keep in mind, however, this site is a work in progress, and new photos and writings may be added on a daily basis
