Last Updated: February 24, 2002 - Sunday [Adelaide Time] When will they give poor Mark a break! A narrow defeat at St. Jude against Bjorkman and now withdrawal from San Jose? Yes, once again, I'm away from the Wide World of Internet Sports and I find out that Mark has withdrawn from the San Jose Tournament. Although the exact details of his {shoulder} injury is very unclear, one thing's for sure: he can't play. So I guess we're just gonna have to go another whole week without any Mark Photos, News or Gossip :-( That's life! But on a serious note, I hope Mark recovers from this recent setback. Keep a positive mind and you'll be back on court real soon! Luck! On to other topics, the Winter Olympics Games are winding down :-( And to think I was only getting into it after Australia won their first Gold Medal! The Ice Dream has been pretty good, the curling has been mesmerizing {or not...} and Apolo Anton Ohno's been a thrill to watch {can someone say Eye Candy? *he he*}. Speaking of Eye Candy, here's a 'Back in Blue' pic of Mark at last week's St. Jude Tournament. Love that blue! Love it!
And one last thing, this one's for my good pad, Jonelle. She's totally claimed George Clooney for herself {and is hiding him in her closet}. We both love George, and she also thinks that Mark isn't half bad. So for the heck of it, I thought I'd whack in a pic of Mr. Clooney and get double the pleasure. I personally can see Mark turning into a George Clooney when he hits 40 years of age. Wouldn't that be nice? *he he*
Last Updated: February 20, 2002 - Wednesday [Adelaide Time] G'day Everybody! How's it going everybody? I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but I guess by the time you all see this you would have already found out that Mark lost his First Round match against Jonas Bjorkman at the Kroger St. Jude Tournament in Memphis, Tennessee {hum that 'Arrested Development' song HERE}. I have no idea what the final score was and I was at work at the time I found out. Don't know the circumstances behind Mark's loss to Bjorkman. All I'm hoping is it's not injury-related. Maybe Mark's been watching too much of the Winter Olympics. All those halfpipe, snowboarding events surely would be a distraction to an snow enthusiast like Mark :-) Don't worry Mark, there's more tournaments this year. Although it would have been nice to defend your title. Oh well, life goes on....... Oh! Have you all seen that 'Scuderia' ad for Ferrari? Pretty appropriate hey? I reckon Mark should get that as a reward when he wins Wimbledon this year. I can him driving that one right now.....in a yellow one perhaps? Or better yet, RED HOT - just like Mark :-) Housekeeping wise, I have a lot to go through and upload. Fan stories, I'm collating and some other features that I hope to finish off soon - as soon as I find extra time that is :-) My apologies, but life's still pretty hectic right now {work, Winter Olympics, the beach, tennis, movies, shopping - the excuse list goes on!} Till Next Time! I have nothing worthy to update on with regards to Mark News or Exclusives. As far as I can logically tell, he's no longer Down Under :-( He's most probably back at his Delray Beach home preparing for the upcoming US Tennis Circuit. But I have finished 'Mark's Valentine's Day Page' so go check that out for the heck of it :-) Sorry, couldn't find an 'Amazing' MIDI to go with the page {lack of time, lack of patience on my part} but just hum the song while you're viewing the page *he he* BTW, that's 'Amazing' by Alex Lloyd {have I said lately that AL is a LEGEND, much like Mark is?} Plus, I have also started the 'I Want More of This' Page. Happy Valentine's Day to all the men I've loved before and to the one that I love now..... Oh! and to Mark too! Last Updated: February 2, 2002 - Saturday [Adelaide Time] We're still here! We're still here! No, you don't get rid of us that easy *he he* We were out of Mark Action for a while there coz sh*t kinda hit the fan all at the same time. You know how it gets. Life gets a little crazy once a while and you just gotta deal with it.... But enough about that domestic stuff, we're here to PART-EY! Well, actually not yet coz Mark isn't back on court {of any type of court for that matter}. I have no idea what happened with the whole 'Speeding-in-Mom's-BMW' thing but I'm hoping Marky didn't have to appear on court for that. The guy needs to leave for the US pretty soon! We have all these Mark Features currently being brewed up in the Flip Think Tank. We just gotta find the time to write it all up - that's our lame excuse for that one. Also, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who sent us Tournament Stories and suggestions for the V-Day Page. Unfortunately we can't post all Tourney Stories {and YOU know WHY!} but maybe with some Editing we'll be able to put some up *he he* THANKS EVERYBODY! On a personal note, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY E-MAILS TO MY BIGPOND ACCOUNT. That no longer exists coz I gave them the boot! $28.95 a month and half the time my e-mail doesn't even work! I don't think so! {Aaaahhhh....venting, don't you just love it?} Continuing on the ISP Saga, I hope to find a new one by the end of the week. As soon as that's organised, things will be back to normal {hopefully...our definition of normal is a little twisted than that of most people's - can't you tell through this Editorial?}. If all comes to worse, we'll use the services of my workplace :-) If I'm gonna slack off at work, I might aswell slack off with Mark :-) Oh! On a happier note, I'm feeling kinda KIND these days so if anyone wants some Mark Pics, send me an email and I'll give you some :-) Just a little THANK YOU for those who put up with this stuff.....Don't be shy now......And I promised someone a 'Glistening Mark' Pic....but can't recall who {my memory is failing me}. If that's YOU, email me coz I don't like promising something and not keeping it. And I do apologise in advance for not remembering who I promised it to.
