How was everyone's Christmas Festivities? I hope Santa was more than generous to everyone this year. As long as you've been good, I'm sure you got what you wanted :-)

As for all of us Mark Fans, we might well be rewarded with some valuable Mark-Sightings the next few days. Channel Nine News last night reported that it's most likely that Pete and Mark will be arriving here in Adelaide in the next 48 Hours. Sounds promising doesn't it?

Now, for my itinerary for the AAPT Championships: Dec. 31st we're there for the Day Session in Row A. Considering we have no knowledge of the Draw til the morning, I'm not sure how prepared I will be for Mark :-) Jan. 1st we're there for the Day Session again [we haven't purchased our Night Session tickets - we sure will if Mark or Pete play that night]. Once again we'll be sitting in Row A. We'll be the ones cheering tirelessly for Mark :-)

Merry Christmas to you all!

It's Christmas Day here in Australia so we'll make this a quick one. No real updates which involve Mark. As far as I know Greg Rusedski is the only player for the AAPT Championships that have decided to have a Christmas Aussie-style :-) I guess it does beat an English dreary Christmas.

As I've said before, I'm betting that Mark could be here in Adelaide as early as the 27th. No details as to where he'll be staying [but the Hilton or Inter-Continental wouldn't be far off] as both are very close to Memorial Drive [more importantly, it's easy access to us Fans]

Site-wise, I set up a Message Board where I will do any Quick Updates while I'm busy at the AAPT Championships. Check back there if I don't do 'proper' updates here at AOTM. Also, feel free to post me any 'requests' and for all you eager Mark Fans, I can SMS you latest updates while at the matches if you're just dying to find out Mark's progress :-) I do what I can....

Today's update includes a bit of 'Tennis Star Spotting' for me. Yes, yes, today I was lucky enough to catch Greg Rusedski at the Marion Shopping Centre [a local Adelaide Mall for overseas fans]. Greg was accompanied by a male friend, coach, I really have no idea as I cannot call myself a Greg Rusedski fan :-) He was dressed casually and wasn't at all bothered by any of the people around him. But nevertheless it was a thrill to see him in the flesh.

Seeing Greg roaming around Adelaide is a good sign because maybe Mark will do the same. I guess I better keep a stake out around Marion too. Mind you, Marion isn't exactly 'just around the corner' from Memorial Drive so maybe Greg heard that Marion's quite a mall so that's why he decided to pay it a visit. Hopefully the other players here for the AAPT Championships will be thinking the same thing.

According to today's Adelaide Advertiser, there's still no news as to when Mark or Pete will be coming down to Adelaide. All that's definite is that it will be after Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mark here by the 27th of December. Surely he would want to get used to the Memorial Drive court and the weather Adelaide has been having lately [which is much cooler than previous years].

Hello! Hello! Just a quick update from me today. Just a few things to announce:

The 2002 Australian Open Program is NOW AVAILABLE from your local newsagent. It's pretty thick so I guess you get your $AUS12.95's worth :-) I had a flick through one this afternoon and saw a really gorgeous 'topless' picture of Mark. I'm sure there's more inside for us to have a peek at *he he*

Also, ONE newsagent is stocking the Official Davis Cup Program. I'm now kicking myself for not buying it right there and then coz the likelihood of it being there next week is very slim! It's a must-have for Pat Rafter & Lleyton Hewitt fans, for sure! Grab yours for $AUS8!

For Adelaide Tennis Fans in general, the Gerard McCabe Celebrity Challenge is on the 28th December. Catch Lleyton and Kim Clistjers in action, plus many more 'stars' there! [FYI: I won't be going to this one :-(]

One last thing, keep an eye out in all the Aussie Newspapers because they've been using Mark's Longines ad once more. It's only the 'tiny' versions but it's still pretty neat seeing it. It's normally somewhere in the Sports Section.

Looks who's back! *lol* That's right, it's not only our dear Mark that's embarking on his much awaited comeback to the Tennis World but also yours truly. Yes, I'm back. Back with a vengeance *he he*

The main reason I've decided to revive AOTM from near oblivion is because I've been caught up with the whole wave of Scud Mania the past few weeks. With Mark's upcoming AAPT Championships Wildcard appearance, everything's in top gear.

Although we are back, it will be quite toned down from AOTM Version 1 :-) I now admit that I took on too much work with the previous Website so this time I'm gonna pace myself and only provide information as they come to hand. No promising of Regular Updates coz I pretty much sucked at keeping that *he he* I shall take each day as it comes.

With the emergence of AOTM Version 2 now out, I will be building this Version up. But that doesn't mean that you aren't able to access the 'old school' AOTM that was once up. For AOTM Version 1, just click here.
