*Mark
coming to Adelaide in the first place! We Adelaidians aren't that
blessed when it comes to Mark visiting our humble state so it was
great to see him here. *Colin
Stubs rewarding Mark a Wildcard - a nice gesture and I'm sure
Colin's thankful he did it. *The
people at BASS - for giving us such fabulous seats :-) *Seeing
Mark in the flesh that Monday - for the very first time - and
getting his autograph and some photos. *At
the same time, seeing Pete Sampras, Marcelo Rios, Thomas Enqvist,
Hicham Arazi, Tim Henman and Todd Martin at the Practise Courts. *Talking
to Todd and Mark on that Monday :-) Gosh, were we assertive! *The
sun deciding to 'give us a break' once in a while. But still
wished it never came! *Bradley!
Our favourite (and talented) Ball Boy *he he* *The
Squidgy Guys! What legends! But we still reckon one of those blue
covers would have done the trick. Next year, maybe next year! *Colin
Stubs, for running this tournament in the first place. He's not
exactly making millions out of it but we're still grateful for the
privilege. *The
beautiful River Torrens, the perfect place for topless tennis
players to jog :-) *Mexican
Chicken Nachos and Hotdogs. If junk food is what you want, you'll
find it at Memorial Drive! *Our
Usher Buddy, 'G'. He gave us a little dance and some info :-) *Alberto
Martin! *lol* The guy I kept calling 'Martini' just cause it
sounded better with his name :-) *Getting

"I Spy" during the Finals Rain Delay. Two and a half
hours went by soooo quickly! NOT! *Chucking
the ball back to Todd Martin and Tim Henman at practise. I threw
like a girl! That's a good sign.... |
*Mark
losing in the Final to Tim Henman :-( Simply heartbreaking....
*The rain causing
havoc on that Tuesday.
*The wind. Messed
your hair up, messed up the camcorder thanks to the very gusty
wind!
*The Music
Selection. They played some pretty out of date, and not to mention
inappropriate, music during the Rain Delays (eg. "Let's Talk
About Sex"). But having Mark on video practising to 'Kuya's
Song' sure was nice! *he he*
*Bossy Ushers!
Yeah, we know we can't go through that little rope you call a
barracade!
*The fan who kept
calling Mark "Philip". Sure was hell funny but still not
good. Seriously, I tried telling the guy Mark's name was MARK but
did he listen? NO!
*"Henman's
Girlfriend" who was sitting next to us. We reckon she was
Tim's lucky charm!
*The Hungarian
Player who continuously picked his nose and kept eating it. Simply
disgusting beyond words!
*That boy who
decided to "let one rip" whilst Mark was serving for the
match. That was pretty disgusting too!
*Missing shirt
changes due to unprepared ness *he he*
*Those dark
clouds! Boy did we have enough of them after the first day! Grrr!
*Getting sunburnt
(really badly) when it kept raining! What's up with that?
*Noisy spectators
who refuse to STOP talking during the match! Drove us up the wall!
*Spectators who
insist in taking photos (with FLASH) whilst players are serving or
playing! He-llo!
*An unnamed
player who, throughout the tournament, were rude towards the ball
bays and girls and who also kept swearing! Tsk, tsk, tsk. Not
happy with him AT ALL!
*Taking half an
hour to get 'Channel Seven' while playing "I Spy".
Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I ever got that! *lol*
*Being terrified
of these two players (who shall remain nameless) because they
always looked grumpy! Scary!
*Have I mentioned
the rain yet? How frustrating it was to enjoy such great tennis
and then have it ruined by the silly rain?
*Not having
Lleyton at the tournament. Would have completed it!
*Tommy Haas
deciding not to defend his title. If only he saw all the posters
with his face on it! Ungrateful!
*An unnamed
player who blatantly refused to sign a little boys autograph book
:-( That was RUDE!
