Last Updated: August 30, 2002 - Friday [Adelaide Time] The past week hasn't been a very pleasant one for Mark and his fans. A community in despair over what happened to Mark in his First Round Match at the US Open this past Monday. Just seeing Mark's grimaced face, as he laid on the court, in obvious pain was enough to have any of his fans speechless, and some, in tears. To see that was indescribable. Not a pleasant thing to have in your memory. But things aren't as bad as first thought, thankfully and now Mark will be off the tour for the next two months, making sure that he takes good care of his knee ready for next year. Mark, take care of yourself, keep that positive outlook on your tennis career and we look forward to your return on the ATP Tour. Your health is the main priority and your many, many fans will be there to support you. We all know that you can bounce back from this current setback, to be even stronger than you have already been. Go Mark! Rock On!
