MOUNT NEBO CEMETERY

Drive all the way to nowhere and you will be almost to Mount Nebo Cemetery
near the small south Alabama town of Carlton. You are already too late to see
all the work of unsung artist, Isaac Nettles Sr. Vandals, time, and weather have
destroyed two of his works and are working on the two remaining.

Isaac Nettles was born in 1885, received some formal education at the Tuskegee
Institute under Booker T. Washington, created several artistic masterpieces,
and lies in a nameless grave at the Mount Nebo Cemetery.
