Aurora Skye was only seven weeks old when a devastating house fire took her life and made her an angel.
Aurora's mother, Stephanie, made an unbelievably heroric effort to save her children.
She wrapped Aurora in a blanket and put her under her shirt.
She also wrapped her son, Ian, in a blanket and put him between her legs, and attempted to escape the blaze.
The smoke was so thick that Stephanie was only able to get within a few feet of a window before losing consciousness.
By the time the firefighters got to them, Aurora was already gone and Stephanie and Ian were badly burned.
Although Stephanie has a long way to go to recovery, she is improving and Ian is home from the hospital and doing much better.
Stephanie is only 20 years old and has more courage than anyone I know.
She is my hero and my love and thoughts are with her now and forever.
