Former Durmstrang student and current seeker for the Bulgarian quidditch team-Viktor Krum has revealed in a recent interveiw that he is donating a quidditch pitch to Durmstrang Institute of Magic. Krum is to spend millions of galleons on the new quidditch pitch which will have many new magical features. If the rumoured plans are true Durmstrang students may find themselves hosting international profession quidditch games. All plans to date are being held top secret and construction will begin after the Durmstrang quidditch season finishes. The current quidditch pitch will be used for future triwizard tornament grounds.

As the N.E.W.T's exams are about to begin at Durmstrang Professor Hilbury is offering tutorials to any one who wishes to have help with preparing for their exams. Tutorials will be held in room 34 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
