Seeing the ruins of a discarded boat
is much the same as a lost soul.
For once the vessel floated and brought
joy to the passengers aboard,
much like a soul that is now
half where once it was whole.
The planks have weathered many years
and probably have tales to tell.
The soul has shed many tears
and sometime feels like it has lived through hell.
The tide comes in and washes
against the ruins of the boat ...
making the foundation weaker.
As life continues the business of living ...
and the soul grows meeker.
Without repairs the boat
will soon leave no trace
that is once was a vessel to be proud of.
Without joy in the soul it will
soon forget the meaning of love.
Down trodden no where to turn
Can respect of ourselves be yet again earned?
If you see a tear fall down my saddened face.
It is because these ruins are so out of place.

I find a kind of tranquillity in the sea.
She knows all emotions
her waves emphasise by motion.
Soft and gentle for romance.

Anger shown with slamming waves.

When I'm blue she curls around.
Gently making soothing sounds.
As if she knew I wanted no one to hear ...
she blocks the sounds of heartfelt tears.
I gaze upon her vast waters,

if I had not been born.

I sit alone
recalling our last talk
No longer dreaming
of a romantic walk
Hand in hand
strolling the shore
Realizing we both wanted
so much more
Love between us
is not meant to be
Losing trust
because of jealousy
Distance you say
took love away
But no matter what
I believe love finds a way
Love is patient
and love is kind
True love will survive
it just takes time
But time is something
you can't afford
And I heard the
slamming of the door
My heart got caught
and it was broken
All that is left
are words unspoken
Love isn't a vision
of passion and glory
To me it is a lifelong story
It isn't a fairy tale with a happy end
It is a life ended that did not begin
When love dies it takes it's toll
From me it took my very soul
Can tears wash away pain
How will my heart sustain
Time like waves wash over me
Stripped of all things that mattered to me
Without love life isn't worth living

you want to see them,
talk to them,
and know they okay.
You want to wish them
good things and tell
them to have a
wonderful day.
Their well being is the
most important thing
in the world to you.
You realize there is
nothing for them
you would not do.
Sometimes your thoughts
of them are so strong
you sense when
something is amiss.
You can't rest until
you talk with them
and wish so much you
could resolve the problem
with a soft and gentle kiss.
Some people take love
lightly as though it
were a game.
To me it is so much,
so deep, heartfelt,
so mmmmm, and
to you, I think it is
the same.
Just my thoughts
for this morning that
I wanted to share.
Another way for me
to show you I care.
Words can't express
the way that I feel.
Always believe that
my feelings are real.

What is love to me?
It is a kind word from you.
It is you being here to say good morning.
You being here to say good night.
To cuddle and hug ...
I Love You.
I close my eyes and see only you.
You are the dream I dream.
Night after lonely night...
I love you.
But you are not here.
The saddest part of the day
is when the night has come,
and the world is asleep...
I love you.
It is then, when in the darkness,
the light of what is reality is all too clear.
It is then when I miss you all the more...
