Jim
Valenti
Birthday: Unknown
Age: Late 30's? Early 40's?
Parents: Jim Valenti, Sr. (Mother's name unknown)
Siblings: Not that we know of
Character History: Married a girl named Michelle, had a son together (Kyle), and divorced a few years later. He's the Sheriff of Roswell. His dad also used to be the sheriff. His dad was obsessed with aliens after seeing a silver handprint on the corpse from 1959. Jim Valenti, Sr. was later framed for murder, but was committed to an asylum instead of going to jail.
Sheriff Valenti was obsessed with Max since the shooting at the Crashdown when the investigation turned up Liz's waitress uniform with a bullet hole in it, and traces of blood. He turned it over to a friend at the FBI, who denied anything being out of the ordinary about the dress. Jim didn't believe the guy, and began watching the group of teens from then on out, trying to learn the truth.
For a long time, it seemed like the sheriff was against the teens, but later it turned out he was on their side, and he helped rescue Max from the hands of Agent Pierce, who'd abducted and experimented on him.
While trying to formulate a plan to help the kids, Agent Pierce took a shot at Valenti. Valenti shot back. Michael used his powers and saved Valenti's life. Moments later, Jim realized that the gun Agent Pierce had used to fire at him with was one of his own, and then much to his horror, he realized he had shot Kyle (who was behind some curtains). He pleaded with Max to save his son, and Mad did so.
