If Confederate Flags are protected by The Constitution, then flag-burning should also be protected by The Constitution. If anything, though, Confederate Flags should be viewed as a greater affront to the principles upon which this nation was supposedly founded, since that kind of flag represents a country (The Confederate States Of America) that challenged the stability of the nation in terms of geography, economics, culture, ethics, and (last, but certainly not least) race.
It seems appropriate to burn the flag of our nation until our nation lives up to the grand promises stated in its founding documents.
