Elves
An
enigma with a history that predates most known mortal histories,
the Daoine Sidhee have always been, and likely always will
be. They claim to be the creation of an elvish gods tears
and blood, which has given them near immunity to the aging
that plagues mortals.
Elves
tend to be slightly shorter than men (averaging about five
feet tall) and proportionatly weigh less as well. They are
fair of skin and usually have black hair and blue eyes.
Though
not strictly Christian, elves are monotheistic any many scholars
(on both sides) believe the elvish god Coreollan to be a representation
of Christ who appeared to them somewhere in their ancient
histories. Others believe them to be descended from angels.
In either case, Elves are viewed as close allies and are welcome
in most human cities despite the differences in religion.
Since the beginning they have been perhaps the most capable
of all those who stand against Satan to deflect his attacks.
Though Germania has fallen, the tribes of Goblinkin and Damned
have not been able to force their way into Gallia.
Some
elves, however, have reportedly fallen like men into the clutches
of the evil one. These elves, known as the dark elves, perhaps
represent the greatest threat to the empires of God since
the begining of the Holy Wars.
Elves
are very coordinated and have great flexibility and speed
(+2 DEX), however they lack the physical fortitude of men
and are much more easily wounded (-2 CON). Elves are gifted
with a natural resistance to charm and sleep spells, are naturally
skilled with the longsword and all bows, have infravision,
and can detect secret doors (all as per the PHB). Elves may
be Fighters, Rangers, Mages, Druids, Thieves or Bards.
