Hello Everyone!
Digby and Duffy here! For those of you who don't know us, we're the Boytim family dogs affectionately known as "The Boys". We're tired of that Annie girl getting all the attention so we decided to do the Holiday newsletter this year.
The doggie life used to be pretty good around here until Annie showed up just over 7 years
ago. At first we thought she was just another one of us but soon we could tell something
was terribly wrong and our life would never be the same. Since then, she has won our
Masters' hearts and has risen to great power over the animal world. At a monstrous 47½ ins.
and 46 lbs., Annie has established physical dominance and recently she started 1st grade at
the Sts. Joan of Arc and Patrick School so now even our superior intellect is at risk. We
hoped maybe she would do poorly, but no... she has been bringing home exceptional marks
and praise by her teacher Mrs. France. Fortunately, this does get Annie out of the house
for several hours everyday and we can temporarily once again roam free in the peace and
tranquility of pre-Annie reign. When we hear talk of all-year school our tails wag with
glee!
As part of our elaborate coup to overthrow Annie and retake our rightful place as rulers of
the animal world, kings of all beasts, we unfortunately found it necessary to decimate
Annie's close inner-circle of allies, beginning with her older sissy Cami by having her
married this past summer. Cami and her husband Justin now have their own apartment where
they hold two cats in captivity - once victorious, we will liberate those cats!
If you feel you must buy Annie a present this year, please no weaponry, but be careful here
because the clever mind of a 7-year old can transform even the seemingly most harmless of
toys into part of her powerful, ever growing, anti-doggie arsenal. Please mention this to
Santa too - we'd do it ourselves but we're kinda on his naughty side since eating his milk
and cookies last year - we tried to blame Annie but that Santa just seems to know everything.
As if not satisfied as just ruler of the animal world, Annie is also trying to conquer the internet with her all Annie super-colossal internet mega-website known as Annie Land at www.geocities.com/anboytim . Boycott this site!
So, thanks to us, you didn't have to hear about that Annie girl at all this year! Don't forget your four-legged friend under the table at Christmas dinner. Have a happy and safe holiday season.
