Hello
again everyone!!
Annie here. Well, it's official; I am now a full fledged card bearing member 'terrible-two'!! I have been preparing for this all of my life, and... I think I'm ready. In fact, I may have gotten a head start; I only hope Mom and Dad get some NEW stuff that's not already broken.
And
merry Christmas everyone! Although I'm only two, due to some strange mathematics
I don't yet understand this will be my third Christmas, and I suspect my
best. Oh, not because I've been good this year, but because Mom and Dad
well know how ugly it can get when I don't get my way. So they completed
the appeal process with Santa to get me off that dreaded 'Naughty-List'
and made a sizable donation to the Elves' Retirement Fund and paid the
necessary bribes to high ranking North-Pole government officials, so not
only should this be a great Christmas but I learned an important lesson
in government known as 'corruption' (they don't teach that on Schoolhouse
Rock ya know).
Anyway, on to the question that is surely on everyone's mind, "What's up with Annie?". I'm doin' quite well; I now weigh 23 pounds and stand 34 inches tall, and have only two scars that we think will be permanent. My days are just full of activity; I get goin' immediately after waking up which is usually about 7:30 (just in time for my Teletubbies) and keep goin' until night-night-time which is usually 9:00 and pretty tightly controlled by Mom. I take a break for nap-time around 1:00 which gives Mom a chance to clear the debris from my busy morning, kinda like a Zamboni.
Mom
has me enrolled in a gymnastics class where I go once a week to hone my
getaway skills and learn important lessons such as how to disguise hyperactivity
as structured learning. This is a lot of fun and, unlike most local eating
establishments, I have not yet been banned. I get along pretty well with
the other kids, although I did once bite a little girl from Russia. Thankfully,
due to the end of the cold war this did not escalate into a ugly international
incident involving nuclear weapons. Mom patched the whole thing up with
a nice gift.
Well, Dad limits me to exactly one page, so it looks like this is all for now. Have a very merry Christmas and a very happy New Year, and if Santa happens to bring you a new computer with internet access don't forget to visit me on the world wide web at www.geocities.com/capecanaveral/3041.
Hugs and kisses,
Annie
