Hi
everyone,
Annie Here. Wow! It's hard to believe that I am already six months old! My how time flies. It seems like just yesterday that Dad was puttin' on my first diaper in the hospital and now I'm startin' to sport teeth and tryin' to crawl and, well, all sorts of stuff. I am now just over fourteen pounds.
I
am a morning baby. I like to get up early and keep Mom busy all day long.
Most days, though, I manage to take a couple of naps which, for some reason,
seems to please Mom, but I keep 'em short so she doesn't get bored. I especially
like splashin' in the tub, puttin' everything in my mouth, chasin' cars
(wait, that's not me - that's the dogs), and hangin' around in the buff
(no diaper, whoo-hoo!). I especially don't like havin' my face wiped or
sittin' in my high chair, although Dad did do a particularly fine job of
assembly.
My favorite thing to do is play with paper, especially newspaper. I love to wrinkle it and tear it and put the pieces in my mouth. Mom and Dad don't really like me doing this, but, like most things, I can usually get away with it for a while (well, actually just Mom doesn't like it but I didn't want to make her sound like the heavy).
Mom
takes especially good care of me; she knows what I like and don't like,
tolerates my moods, feeds me, bathes me, changes my diaper; the list is
endless. And, my Dad, of course is... one bad dude!
I
like the dogs, Digby and Duffy, a lot but I can't wait until I can chase
'em around the house. They usually don't bother with my toys much, but
when they do Mom or Dad handles the situation; they pack some serious pooch
rectifyin' muscle.
Well, life as a six-month old IS pretty busy, so I better end here. I think I see Mom starting to drift off to sleep so this is a good time to SCREAM. There, that's better; she's awake! See you all again at twelve months.
Hugs and kisses,
Annie
