Course Description:
Travel the Internet in search of motivating Visual Art experiences to bring back to your classroom. Immerse your students with rich discipline based learning experiences that will shape their views on a world of Art Appreciation. Teachers will be exposed to a wide variety of curriculum activities to enhance their individual journey. This is a hybrid course appropriate for all teachers N-12. Participants will meet the first and last hour at the Eastern Suffolk Boces in Bellport for this exciting 6 hour virtual experience.
Syllabus/ Course Objectives:
Students will explore the following web sites an choose 2 assignments to submit to the instructor by the end of the course.
Students will be provided with a wide variety of online Art experiences to integrate into their individual curriculum area. The instructor has provided links to websites and a wide variety of assignments to meet instructional needs and differences. Students will correspond by email with the instructor with two projects that meet state and national learning standards based upon museum studies visited during the course.
