G: Tad, what are you doing here?
T: Looking for you. You were with us one minute at the hospital, the next you were gone. That happens quite a lot lately. And then whenever you reappear, you're usually with him. Don't you have some kind of dot-com fiefdom to run?
R: Tad, I was just cutting through the park, and I saw Gillian. She looked upset, so I wanted to stay with her.
T: Yeah, you do look flushed.
G: Have you heard anything from Jake?
T: No. Adrian is still trying to get in touch with his contacts, see what he can find out, try to figure t why it is that Jake doesn't want to come home.
G: You know, he's risking his own life to save lives. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
T: No, it doesn't. Maybe he thinks there isn't --
[Telephone rings]
T: It's probably Adrian. Yeah, hello? Jake? Jake, can you hear me? What the hell is going on? Are you ok?
[Tad speaks to Jake on the phone briefly. He hands the phone to Gillian, but the connection is lost. Tad then relays to Ryan & Gillian what Jake told him. Before he leaves, he informs Gillian that Jake said he loves her.]
G: I saw it in Tad's eyes. He doesn't think Jake's going to make it back.
R: Don't, Gillian. Don't. Jake is going to be fine.
G: He's facing so much danger. You know why he's trying to save those children? Because of Colby. He lost her, and he doesn't want to lose any more kids.
R: Gillian, Jake made his choice.
G: This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't lied to him.
R: A lot of people lied to him.
G: No. I made a vow to him and I broke it, and I'm breaking it now with you.
R: That's why I have to go there, Gillian, because it's the only way to make things right.
G: Ryan, listen -- I love you for being so brave. But please, I'm begging you -- please don't go to Chechnya.
R: You know I hate the thought of being away from you for even one day.
R: Now, if Tad came looking for you, Princess, you know the rest of the Martins are wondering where you are.
G: I should get back to the hospital, see if Ruth or Joe needs me. I'll see you later.
R: Yes, you will.
