Sonny and Brenda had just made plans to have dinner at his place. Robin came in and told Brenda that Stone had kissed her and that she wanted to see him again but her Uncle Mac won’t allow it. Brenda figures out the perfect solution, Robin can come along with her and they could double date. Brenda calls Sonny back to ask him if it would be okay.

S: “ Hello?”
B: “ It’s me.”
S: “ We didn’t have a change of heart, did we?”
B: “ No, just a little adjustment. How much of that clam sauce did you say you had?”
S: “ Buckets, why?”
B: “ How would you feel about having company?”
S: (Doesn’t sound particularly thrilled) “ You’re kidding, right?”
B: “ No, like a double date.”
S: “ What, with Edward and Lila? I gave the butler the night off.”
B: (Laughing) “ Very funny. A couple of friends.”
S: “ You serious?”
B: “ Yes.”
S: “ Well, that’s not really what I…you know had in mind.”
B: “ I know, but we can be flexible, can’t we?”
S: “ Well, that depends who…with who?”
B: “ Robin and Stone. It’s really important. Come on, we’d be doing them both a big favor.”
S: (Looks over at Stone) “ Stone? My Stone?”
B: (Smiling) “ Yeah, your Stone.”
S: “ Well, I’m gonna have to find out if he’s free.”
B: “ Oh, he’s free. Trust me.”
S: “ Are you sure you’re just not afraid to be alone with me?”
B: “ Should I be?”
S: “ A double date, huh?”
B: “ Yep. Come on. Just go with the flow. You might have fun.”
S: “ Book it Danno.”
B: “ Thank you.”
S: “ You don’t have to thank me now. You’ll…you’ll pay me eventually.”
B: “ Oh, I plan on it. Oh listen, there’s just one more thing.”
S: (Looks like he’s about to say what now?) “ What?”
B: “ Try to behave yourself around Robin. She’s very impressionable.” (Robin gives Brenda this look of total humiliation.)
S: “ It’s my duty as a host to be beyond reproach.”
B: “ You’re so sweet. I’ll talk to you later.”
S: “ I know. Bye.” Brenda and Sonny hang up.
B: (To Robin) “ Done!” (Laughing)
R: “ Are you sure he didn’t mind?”
B: “ Are you kidding? The man would do anything for me.”
Robin smiles at Brenda.

Sonny starts talking to Stone about the double date.
S: “ Is there something you’re not telling me?”
St: “ I don’t know what you mean?”
S: (Messing with his ear) “ Robin Scorpio?”
St: (Smiling) “ What’s going on?”
S: “ We’re double dating here…tonight. Is that a trip or what?”
St: (Laughing) “ Wait, is that okay with you?”
S: “ Well, I got the impression that was the only way she was going to get next to you tonight. If I remember my old days of young love, she’s sneaking out with Brenda just so she can see you tonight.”
St: “ Yeah. I figured that her uncle was giving her grief.”
S: “ Robin? Wow…I mean, you know she’s cute of course and I hardly know her but she seems kind of straight, right?”
St: “ Very straight.”
S: “ Uh huh.”
St: “ I don’t know a lot of girls like her.”
S: “ She’s a nice girl. Wow, am I right? See that’s trouble, girls like that will tie your heart in a knot.”
St: “ Yeah, but let’s not make a big deal out of this, okay? It’s just a date.” (He walks around Sonny. Sonny turns around to face him.)
S: “ I will remind you of those exact words one of these days, ' Just a date.' Meanwhile, do you remember where the vacuum cleaner lives?”
St: “ Yeah, it’s in the closet.”
S: “ Well, don’t tell me. Just get it ‘cause we have company tonight. We have women coming over here. I cook, you clean, right?”
St: “ You got it.” Stone runs to go get the vacuum cleaner with a smile on his face.
