S: (To himself)
"A star is born!"
St: "You were really hot. Really hot!"
K: "Thanks." (Sonny walks up to them) "What'd you
think?"
S: "Not bad. You had some potential, a little more practice."
K: (annoyed) "Really."
S: "Come on, you heard the crowd. You OWNED them baby! So tell me, how did
it feel?"
Scene 2
S: "So how does it feel knowing all the applause was for you?"
K: "I don't know. It was all just a blur. I mean it was different."
St: "You were different. I mean you can really dance!"
K: "I just… I just hear the music. Oh my God, I can't believe I did this,
I mean I've NEVER did anything like this before."
S: "Were you nervous?"
K: "It's like I didn't even have time to be nervous. It's like I just went
up there. I felt like no one could touch me."
S: "No one can"
MC: "Last but not least, let's hear it for the curvaceous Carrie!"
St: "Congratulations!"
K: "I am in shock."
St: "That's gotta be the easiest money you've ever made."
K: "I feel funny taking this."
S: "How... wait… how come?"
K: "Because, I was just having fun. I didn't expect to be paid for

S: "Put that money away, you earned it."
Scene 3
St: "Anybody home?"
K: "What? Sorry, I was just thinking."
St: "It's obvious. What about?"
K: "I just really surprised myself."
(Sonny walks up to them)
S: "He taking good care of you?"
St: "Doing my best."
S: "Well your best is better than most. So you're in good hands
Carrie."
K: "I'm having a really great time."
S: "Good, good! Looks like you need some more champagne."
K: "No I don't need anymore champagne. I have to work tomorrow."
S: "Whatever you say. Stone make sure she gets home okay, all right?"
St: "Sure thing."
K: "No don't worry about it, you don't have to."
St: "No it's okay, I'll walk you."
K: "Okay." (She walks away)
S: "You friend Carrie has potential."
St; "I knew it! As soon as I saw her."
S: "I gotta hand it to you kid, you have a knack for picking winners. So
where do you suppose you get that?"
St: "Let me guess, from you right?"
S: "You know it! Carrie's got the goods. A great body, class, sensuality,
and the right touch of innocence. You should be happy you did good."
St: "Yeah, I am happy."
S: "Then why the long face?"
St: "No, it's nothing."
S: "No, no, no. What is it?"
St: "I can't stop thinking about who's been looking for me. I mean ever
since Crystal came around and said that some girl's been snooping
around..."
S: "You got no problem, forget it. Now if anything comes up I'll take care
of it like always. When a friend does something for me I don't forget it."
St: "But say that person catches her, I mean and she's high, who knows what
she's gonna tell her? I don't want somebody messing in my life."
S: "Say that she does talk. Who's gonna believe her? She's a junkie. So
when I say stop worrying, I mean stop worrying okay?"
St: "Okay."
S: "You gotta stop putting your faith in junkies. I know you like her, but
she's not for you."
St: "All right."
