| Set in a small Kentucky town, You're the Reason is the story of Luke Sanchez, his patchwork family, and what happens when he falls for his future "daughter-in-law". When he discovers that she is being raped by her father he must decide whether to risk his family to help her, or sit on the sidelines and watch her die. A dark secret. A dark past. As a family they would finally find peace. | "Manic Suns Dark Moons is a DV documentary about me, my family, and how manic depression has affected us all, the lack of understanding, and how the disease can destroy everything in its path, especially the person suffering from it. People need to know that they are not alone. That even the though the battle can be uphill for recovery, benefits, and acceptance, it is not hopeless." IFH/TDI Productions has four interviews and a couple of family gatherings in the can (courtesy of cinematographer Melissa Goodman), and are seeking both interviews with other manic depressives, their families, and completetion funds for this film.
