Devils Food Fudge Cookies

A mixture of chocolate chips and walnuts give these fudgy treats the flavor you crave. And they'll be extra moist and chewy if you ensure they don't over bake. (Or make them like me with no nuts & extra chocolate chips!)Mmmmmm

1 1  pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Devil's Food Cake Mix
2 2  large eggs
3 1/2  cup vegetable oil
4 1/2  cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 1/2  cup chopped walnuts
1 Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease baking sheets.
2 Combine cake mix, eggs and oil in large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. (Mixture will be stiff.) Shape dough into 36 (1 1/4-inch) balls. Place 2-inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
3 Bake at 350 °F for 10 to 11 minutes. (Cookies will look moist.) Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets. Remove to cooling racks. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
Variation: For a delicious flavor treat, substitute peanut butter chips for the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts for the chopped walnuts.
