Learning from disasters:

"And it did not be seem your Lord to have destroyed the towns tyrannously, while their people acted well. [11:117] Means: Our Lord does not destroy a community over a single wrong-doing, or when its people are doing the right thing. Allah only destroys the towns, when they have exceeded all the limits set by Him, when some of the people start breaking the Laws of Allah, and no one is there left to guide them, when there is no hope left for its people to mend their ways, only then as the last resort, Allah SubhanaTalla orders the angels to destroy such cities and towns.

A Masjid stands untouched, after the huge Tsunami disaster, a sign left by Allah for us to see,............and learn. People of the town must have forgotten to go their masjids.

World's most powerful earthquake in 40 years, triggers deadly Tsunami!!!

On 26 Dec 2004 Earth shuddered and towns turned into heaps. Why because of the magnitude of the sin in those parts of the world had exceeded all limits and that led to their destruction, pre-determined by Allah the Creator of all.

The Tsumani of Dec 26, 2004 ranks among the worst natural disasters in the past century, with more than 175,000 dead in 12 countries.

<< Allah saved who ever He wanted and whatever He wanted. This is the only wall that is left standing upright, everything else was crushed down to the ground by Tsunami. Why? Because that wall has the name "Allah" written on it in Arabic. SubhanAllah.

Now such are their houses in, - in utter ruin, because they practiced wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge. And we saved those who believed and practiced righteousness. [27:52-53]

"Have they not traveled in the lands so that their hearts and minds may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but blind are their hearts which are in their breasts." [22:46] Means: God is telling us that many of us see such disasters with our eyes but we never take them as punishment from God, and never take any lessons from them and do not try to mend our ways, instead we just think of them as meaningless occurrences of nature.

Budhists praying but unfortunatley to the wrong god! Some people never learn.

After Tsunami, Hindus and Buddhists  went back to worship and please their idols and many imaginary gods, in order to ask for help.

Allah guides whoever He wills, Yusuf Islam, (prev. Cat Stevens) donating money to Tsunami victims. /\

These types of disasters are only a reminder for us that within seconds Allah can take back everything He has blessed us with, our families, our properties and even our body parts and therefore we should remember Him and thank Him at all times. We should not take His Blessings for granted. Because if we stopped doing that, then Allah SubhanaTalla, is capable of shaking our world upside down in an instant, to bring us back to our senses. Even that would also happen if Allah is planning to Bless us with a second chance, some unfortunate people don't even get a second chance. Are you waiting for a disaster in your life to happen, to make you get down on your knees or are you one of the smart ones who see with their eyes and hearts and learn from others mistakes. Ask for Allah's forgiveness before any disaster strikes you. A disaster can be of any form,.....it doesn't have to be a Tsunami or a hurricane, it can be a disease, an accident, loss of  a loved one, loss of property, or  job etc. etc.

And the catch.

May Allah give us all the chance to ask for and achieve His Forgiveness before our deaths. And may Allah give us all honorable deaths on the Day of Jumuah, while fasting and in the state of wudu and may ALLAH give us the status of a Shaheed at the time of death. Ameen.

So how many a towns did We destroyed while it was unjust/sinful, so it was fallen down upon its roofs,... [22:45]
