Koblenz / Marksburg / Rüdesheim / Bad Brucknau
Marksburg Castle.

Vineyards on the side of a hill. Theses were all over, because, I learned, that on hills the grapes get more even amounts of sunlight.

In all its year's Marksburg was only attacked once.... by us "Stupid Americans" during WWII, because we thought Germans were hiding there. These are the shells that struck the place.
