Defenestrate(de·fen·es·trate)-To throw someone/something out of a window (preferably a high window).
Example: Sally became so mad at her computer that she very seriousy considered defenestrating it.

Nefarious(ne·far·i·ous)- infamous for being evil. :[
Example: Al Capone was a nefarious gangster.

Perspicacious(per·spi·ca·cious)-the act of having or showing keen understanding or discernment
Example: Her quick understanding of the situation illustrated her perspicacious nature.

Crepuscular (crep·pus·cu·lar)- Of or like twilight; dim. Can also refer to something that becomes active at dusk or twilight (as in certain insects and bats).
Example: The ancient chandelier glowed feebly, giving a crepuscular atmosphere to the recesses of the room.

Chiral (ky·ral)- Exhibiting handedness; something which is not superimposable on its mirror image.
Examples: Your hands (when considered with figernails, etc.) are chiral. A carbon atom with 4 different groups around it in a tetrahedral arrangment is chiral.

Acquiesce (ac·qui·esce)- to agree or consent without protest.
Example: If the company owners had acquiesced to the demands of the workers, then there wouldn't have been a strike. (Where do my examples come from?)

Apogee (ap·o·gee)- the point of orbit in which the orbiting object is furthest away from the object it is orbiting; the farthest or highest point.
Example: The baseball reached its apogee and began its decent to earth, while the crowd held its' breath: would it be a homerun or not?

immure (im·mure)-to enclose within walls; shut up; to imprison; to incarcerate; To entomb in a wall.
Example: The mob immured the unlucky scapegoat in the catacombs.
