ALLA Education Committee 2004 Teleconference: Preserving, Researching and Celebrating Alabama History and Culture

The Education Committee of the Alabama Library Association is currently organizing a statewide teleconference on Preserving, Researching and Celebrating Alabama History and Culture.”  This teleconference featured presentations by academic librarians, public librarians, special librarians, and school library media specialists.

The teleconference will take place on February 13 (Friday) from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Currently, it is scheduled to be held at sites in the following localities: Auburn, Birmingham, Childersburg, Dothan, Gadsden, Huntsville, Jacksonville, Livingston, Mobile, Monroeville, Montgomery, Muscle Shoals, Troy, and Tuscaloosa. <more>

It might be possible to add one or more additional sites to this list if doing so would accommodate ALLA members and other individuals interested in attending the teleconference. Possible sites are those sites which are within the Alabama VIANET teleconference network. A list of these sites can be found at the VIANET website.
