Bron and Ben Markham had been happily married for 3 and a half years. They had two adorable children, 5 year old twins, a boy and a girl. Sam James and Chloe Grace, both dark haired, blue eyes and very loved by their parents.
It was Sam and Chloe's first day at school, Bron was emotional like any mother is, but Ben was proud.
8:00am
Chole and Sam are sitting at the table watching tv as Ben approaches them.
"Rightio kiddo's, telly off, finish breakfast and come and get dressed."
"oh, but Dad," complained Chloe, "Tellytubbies hasnt finished yet"
"You both know today's a big day, school starts it'sd going to be fun" said Ben taking a seat.
" No it wont" Sam said slurping up his cereal.
"Yes it will, I promise. Now come on, Mum's got your clothes ready."
Both kids jumped off their seats and walked into their bedroom with Ben following behind them. Bron looked up and could instantly tell her two little angels did not want to go.
"Hey" said Bron, "Smile you two!"
Sam managed a fake smile but Chloe frowned.
"okay" said Ben picking up a child under each arm and spinning around like an aeroplane. Bron laughed as both kids shouted "Weeeeeeee!"
He placed Chloe on Brons knee and sat down beside her on the bed with Sam. Bron brushed Chloe's hair from her face with her hand.
"we'll do you both a deal" she said winking at Ben. "You both go to school and when you get home we can have heaps of fun"
"promise?" asked Chloe moving closer to her mother.
"Yeah promise" Ben stated as Bron kissed Chloe on the forehead.
"Okay then, time to get ready" Bron said taking Chloe as Ben grabbed Sam's uniform.
