LOVE

Part 1...
 
Terri lay on the floor, unconcious, alone, Mitch had left half an hour earlier and there was no one else who knew she was there.
 
Terri began to awake and as she did so the reality of what just happened hit her like a ton of bricks and she wished it didn't.  The events of the night began to unfold in her mind.  she came home to find everything in a mess, photos on the ground, like someone had come in and deliberately wrecked everything. Before she even had time to move Mitch came in the room and just the look on his face had terrified her it was a look anger, pain, and fury combined into one.  Then he spoke the three simple words that changed everything "How could you"

Part 2...
 
"What are you talking about"  "Dont play stupid with me Terri, Rose rang me on my mobile today and told me she saw you."  "Saw me what"  "She saw you kissing Malcholm."  "What!  The only time ive seen Malcholm since he came back was when he came to my office and I told him that i was engaged to you!"  "Bull sh1t, I cant believe you, you and I finally get back together after all these years and we are supposed to love each other more then anything and you have an affair with Malcholm for gods sake"  "Mitch listen to me, Im not having an affair with anyone escpecially Malcholm."  And as she stepped towards Mitch she felt the first blow of his hand striking her face, after that the only thing Terri could remember was the feeling of Mitch's fists bruise her skin, each blow more devastating then the last.

Part 3...
 
Terri closed her eyes trying to push what happened away, without success.  She tried to get up but the moment she moved her bruised and battered body, the pain was unbearable, but she only had to move a few feet to get to the cordless phone which mitch had knocked off the table in his rage so she forced herself to reach out to get it and she realised in horror that a bone in her arm was pushed out at a funny angle.  She grabbed the phone and she realised that she would have to ring Von...

Part 4...
 
"Hello"
"Hi Von it's Terri"
"are you okay?"
"Not really just get over here now, i cant answer the door just come in." and with that Terri hung up.  Von knew straight away that something was very wrong, so she quickly got in her car and drove to Terri's.  When Von arrived she didnt even bother knocking she raced straight in.  "Terri where are you"  
"Im in the lounge."
When Von entered the lounge room she never could have contemplated what she was about to see.

Part 5...
 
When Von got in she found Terri bruised and battered.   Von ran over to her and to her relief she was still alive, but only just so she grabbed her mobile and rang Ben and Scott, who were both on duty.  "Hello this is Ben Markham."
"Ben it's Von get over to Terri's straight away."
"Why, whats happened?"
"Just get over here."
 
By the time Ben and Scott had arrived Terri had gone into shock and thanks to Bron she was still alive.  While they were in the ambulance Von realised the shocking truth, Mitch must have done this to Terri.

Part 6...
 
Terri slowly began to awake but she was still very groggy as the affects of the anastetic (sorry I cant spell hehe) were still upon her.  When her sight wasnt so blurry she realised that everyone from ward seventeen and Ben and Scott were all sitting and standing around her bed.  "What are you all doing here."
"What do you think Terri, were worried about you." Bron smiled.
"Arent you all supposed to be working."  
"Terri don't worry we all got night staff to come in early, don't panic."
"How are you feeling"  
"Oh Im ok thanks Charlotte. A bit sore."
Then Nelson said what they were all feeling "How the hell could you let him do this to you."
"I didn't exactly have much choice did i Nelson."
Terri looked away partly because she was ashamed and partly because she didnt want them to see her cry.  Suddenly Terri's mobile rang.  "Ill get it for you"  
"Thanks Von"
After Von answered the phone there was a breif pause.
"Terri, Mitch is on the phone."

Part 7...
 
"Can you talk to him, I don't think i could face it just yet."
"Sorry Mitch but she doesnt really want to talk to you and I don't blame her."
"After what you did to her where do you think she'd be.  She's in ICU."
"I don't think so Mitch, do you think she would really want to see you."
"Mitch?"
"He's coming to see you right now, sorry I tried to put him off."
"Thats okay, I suppose I'll have to see him sooner or later."
"Well I don't know about you guys but when he walks in here I'm gonna kill him."
"Ben, don't please."  
"I cant believe her, after all he's done she still wont let anyone lay a finger on him."
"I still love him Ben, no matter what he's done."
After Terri spoke those words everyone waited in nervous silence for the arrival of Mitch.  Mitch raced in the door with a worried expression on his face and the minute he saw Terri he said "Oh god, what have i done."
