They’re deeply “in love”

So the spin-doctors say

But I’ll never believe that

Even on their wedding day

You watch all their shows

You’d run at their call

You scream at their triumphs

You cry at their fall

But please think carefully

What have they done?

Over-acted very badly

Now she’s a mum

That’s no so very special

You’d have to agree

So now you know why

In them no glory I see

So please don’t torment me

For as you can see

This “golden couple”

Aren’t my cup of tea

So watch all their shows

And scream in delight

I’ll just be happy

Bored by them – it’s my right!
