The Wedding

It was a warm summers morning just a few days to go until they happy 
couple finally made their love offical, terri and mitch woke with huge 
smiles on both thei faces terri gave mitch a kiss and padded of towards 
the bathroom. S he needed a shower she hadnt been feeling to good since 
the chicken curry they had teo nites beforehand. Anyway has she was 
relaxing under the warm flow of water she felt the huge hands of er love 
surround her waist and kiss her neck" mitch will you wash my back " he 
smiled " ill do more than that " terri stared at him" oh no u wont i 
have to go to the final dress fitting today with von, bron charlotte and 
lucy!(okay i know rose wouldnt let her but we need a ickle flower girl ) 

"HMM mitch anyway we can catch up when iget home and u mister can 
shave" fair enough sullivan and you can sing when u return " terri winked at 
him " you will b lucky" Minutes later terri emerged from the bedroom 
dressed ina long flowy green dress which was showing off her figure 
mitch was staring with wonder. " Mitch theres some coffee in the pot theres 
von im off ill see yalater love you bye " a few minutes and kisses 
later terri left. 

Mitch was getting his brekkie when paul knocked on the door okay mitch 
i got that stuff you wanted now where we gonna hide it until the 
reception in the shed she wont look in there"Terri and von met bron and 
charlotte at the bridal shop , bron emerged from the dressing room with 
charlotte in matching red floor length silk halterneck gowns , von in a 
beige suit and finally terri in a amazing ivory floor length bustier gown 
with diamonds on the corset it was soo beautiful." terri your like a 
queen u look stunning " terri smiled for deep down she knew she did well 
mitch had to be stunned for she ha a surprise underneath the dress 
also. 

Sometime later the women all wen to sorrentos for some lunch terri just 
got soup for she really had not recovered from the food several nites 
before.Meanwhile mitch was at home with paul getting ready for the stag 
night they would b at pauls before terri got home with the girls , a 
few hours later terri arrived home in order to get ready for the hen 
night, she changed into a red silk gown it was a beautiful she had her hair 
pker straight and she waited for her mated to arrive and they did many 
from ward 17 and surronding wards her sister and cousins, the drinks 
were flowing on both groups but the hen and stg were only thinking of 
each other. The nite was drawing to a close and terri was alone onc more 
and mitch was in a cab on his way home to his bride to be. Terri tided 
and went upstairs to et ready for bed she slipped into a matching set of 
french undies and a robe she lay on the bed with the room lit in 
candlelight. Mitch couldnt believe the sight before him thsi was the woman he 
would be marrying in two days she was a stunner that was for sure they 
kiised and they made love in away that nobody else in the world 
existed. 
"mitch you know i love you but u have to leave ina n hour you cant see 
me for atleast 24 hours before the weeding so shift it" she smiled. 
Mitch yawned and pulled her onyop of him okay sullivan but not before a 
pash session , mitch finally left allowing the gowns and ladies to 
arrive, tehy spent the day doing their nails gettign facials and pampering 
themselves , mitch and the boys were watching the footie all enjoying 
beer and crisps. Both parties went o bed rather early in order to be up 
early in morning,............ 

Terri awoke on the moring of her weeding with a massive grin on her 
face the house was in a such a mess and she stepped over the girls in 
order to have a shower , when she reemerged the room was empty the ladies 
were downstairs with a champagne and oj brekfast prepared " may you both 
live happy ever after" cheers. then they all began gettin ready 

THE boys were all runnign late putting their suits on looking all 
handsome tony and connor had just arrived in from seperate destinations, and 
they all had coffees to waken themeselves and then it was time to leav 
for the church. Terri was about to leave when her mother kissed her and 
gave her a set of pearls that she had wore on her wedding day and then 
they were off taking the long route off course. Moments later mitch was 
at the top of the church awaitng the arrival of the soon to be mrs 
stevens. Terri watched as the girls all made their way towards mitch and 
sighed her eyes full of tears as she saw mitch he was so handsome , mitch 
was breathless as he saw this vision in white walking to him she looked 
amazing. Holdign hands they said their vows and exchanged rings and re 
appeared as mr and mrs stevens the chapel was in an uproar as the y 
clapped then they went to the reception and terri became ill and rushed to 
the bathroom.

Terri was upstairs for around ten miutes and von decideed to check on 
her so she tapped on the bathroom door and entered when she saw her 
friend she knew it was the same way that had occured around a year ago, 
"Von i think that chinses the other night didnt agree with me" terri said 
while stillgripping to the loo. Does mitch know " von said" know what 
von" terri replied that ur expecting. "dotn be silly von i i havefelt a 
bit of lately but thats down to the wedding and im not that late , if 
im not okay by next week ill get test i promiise now lets go back to my 
husband theres cake tobe eaten. 

Hours passed and except for toilet dashes terri had a magical day as 
mitch did to he noticed terri was a bit pale of late but he felt it was 
nerves. Their magical day was drawing to a close and the bride and groom 
went to their room."MITCH AND TERRI STEVENS " mitch said happily you 
have to admit it sounds nice doesnt it." yeah babe it does ill b out in a 
minute and in that instant terri emerged in a white silk nitie with her 
tumbling curls at her shoulder mitch couldbt believe how beautiful that 
his wife was. "i love you mitch and i love you terri" they kissed and 
mitchimus began to waken and terri realising this knew it waas time to 
consimate the marriage. The following morning terri awaoke to be 
enveloped in mitchs arm never feeling safer she stared at the white gold band 
on her finger it was soo pretty.Sudddenly she needed to go to the 
bathrrom mitch woke and the the sound of terri being sick. He lept out of 
bed and ran to her aid 2are you okay is it still that chinese? terri 
smiled yeah i think somr stevens now im going for a shower would you like 
to join me doctor and make me feel better well why not mrs stevens." 

Weeks past, the couple were incredibly happy and had moved into a big 
house and they were content. Terri however felt very sick and she 
decided to get a preency test micth agreed with her however both psrties were 
nervous as too the outcome oftheir first son."mitch im home ,okay im 
going to do it" with that terri dissappeared into the bathroom and 
reemrges several minutes later "well daddy what would you rather have a boy 
or a girl"terri smiled and mitch picked her up "were going to be a 
family terri i love you im soo happy" 

It was the stevens first appointment with dr hannah lawson it brought 
memories back however they were both exstatic, so hannah how far along 
are we mitch replied 6 or 7 weeks ? hmm well i would say about 14 weeks 
actually "what are you sure?i have only been feeling off for about 6 
weeks "terri spoke stunned each pregency is different so this considered 
im gooing to do a scanto check everything is in order.All occupants of 
the rrom feared the discovery of placenta previa okay terri we have a 
healthy placenta previa and you both have a halthy baby listen to the 
heartbeat."mitch look isnt it beautiful" yeah he or she sure is. 

Within weeks terri began grwoing by now she had a small but pronounced 
bump, her sick feeling had finally passed and she was blooming.Mitch 
was the proud husband and daddy he spoke to the bump each night and 
retrieved all of his wifes odd cravings, their life was complete. all was 
well 

AT 37 weeks terri had expanded much to the amazement of all who knew 
her as the petit num, she was huge and proud of it.. Terri was just 
watching the take over hen she felt a large stabbing pain in her belly 
........

terri asked nelso to call mitch to come up as she was having more 
braxton hicks "ouch terri screamed "terri you shoudl be on maternity 
leaveyou should go home"nelson said clearly,"ikll be in my offfice till they 
subside okay im fine and i will have longer off with the baby"terri 
smiled. Mitch was in emergency observign some xrays when cara told him ward 
17 was on the phone he rushed to it "mitch stevens," " mitch nelson 
here terri wanted me to call you , no shes fine well seh maintains she is 
she said its braxtons hicks but she seems in a lot of pain i think you 
should hurry" micth handed over his patienst to charlotte and ran to 
terris office. 
when he reached there he burts in to see teri leaning on her chair, she 
was groaning in pain and micth and terri both knew that this was th 
real thing"micth micth i wanna go home i wanna go" mitch held her hand 
,"sullivan i dont think thers much point we wont make it there and back 
not with the traffic today" terroi smiled okay well aslong as i dont give 
birth here. 

von entered with news of a bed in a private room available, terri 
waddled towars room 2 with good wishes from all her staff mitch was helping 
her with an unmistakeable grin on her face. "now terri lets get you 
into a your nightie and into bed. Micth asked von to call hannah lawson up 
as terris contractiosn were only 20 mins apart and for the 
complicatiosn in the last pregancy mitch was taking no chances for his wifes and 
childs safety. "terri hannah is on her way now babe" terri was in a bad 
way so mitch administered some pethadien to help her. An half an hour 
later hannah emerged into the room. "terri im just gonna feel your tummy 
okay? this may hurt abit, everything seems to be going wll the head is 
down but it itsnt down enough however usually the head will move down 
as labour proceeds, ill be back in an hour or so". terri gripped mitch 
wat if something happends i cant lose 2 children, "shhh sullivan nothing 
is gonna happen speakiing of which we have to narrow the list of names 
down, terri tried to laugh but was engulfed by yet another contraction 
and mitch helped her out of the be to walk around sveral minutes later 
a pool of water formed around terri and they couple burst out laughing 
"here we go" terri patted her belly and felt a hughe kick mitch raced 
over and felt his child inside his wife, nothign but pride was written 
on the huge grin on is face.

Hours passed andhannah once again came in to examine terri who was 
gripping on tightly to micths hand."okay terri your 8 xcms dilated it time 
to move to to the labour ward to get you ready for delivery."mitch 
5this is it and in a little while our family wil;l be complete hannha the 
baby is 3 weeks premature he or she will be okay wont they" hannah 
smiled fine its not really premature at all dont worry this is the best 
part. 

The stevens were in the labour ward when terri told the midwife she 
really needed to push and after examination she was ten cms and was rushed 
to the delivery room mitch was by her side as gidddy as a school boy. 
Hannah came in scrubbed up and calmed terri own before instructing her 
to push terri did so but an hour later nothing was happeneing and mitch 
and terri became worried when hannah ordered for a theatre to be 
preped. "Terri im afraid im ggoing to have to do a c-section, the baby is in 
distress and its not coming the head has moved back up and its safer 
for both of you so were going to theatre micth will go ahead adn get 
gowned up dn we will see you in there dotn worry. 
Minutes later terri was lying in theatre, with her husband by her side 
and hannah the lifted up their child a daughter, terri cried ad did 
mitch when her child was lay on her, micthw as then giving the duty to re 
assure terri as their little girl was taken to be weighed and dressed, 
terri was closed up and they went to recovery, their new daughter 
followed minutes later. however as terri held her micth noticed blood on the 
sheets and pushdthe buzzer just as terris face wen pale as hannah 
rushed in to see terri bleeding heavily.......

Mitch held on to his daughter tightly as terri wa rushed to theatre, 
mitch paced the floor , 2 hours later hannah came out looking at 
mitch,"mitch she lost alot of blood the placenta was stuck i got it all now, 
shes oksy she will just be weak so if you want ill take the baby and put 
her in the incubator if you wanna go see terri." mitch smiled " thank 
you for everything hannah". 
As micth entered thr room he saw his sullivan asleep lookin so pale and 
lifeless from her usual self however by the next day his family were 
back in ward 17, full of visitors. "mitch we have to find a name for 
llittle stevens here terri and mitch watched as their daughter yawned. 
"i like kate, grace and leah "said terri , "i like grace, leah and 
megan "yeah megan stevens i like it terri said megan lucy stevens it is 
then terri smiled and mitch lay on the bed in the hosptal as terri fell 
asleep in his arms 
the stevens familydreamt about the rest of theri lives together.
