The story:
Well before I start I have to say that I only saw some parts of the series, I saw it when I was on vacation in China this year so I didn't got the chance to see the whole series.

Shan Mei is a very sweet girl she is always nice and she always laughs she was studying in England and one day in England she was knocked down by a car the driver came out and brought her to the hospital which saved her life.
His name was Xiang Zhe well he and Shan Mei became very good friends and he comforts her when she heard that the guy You Zhen were she had a huge crush on was in love with another girl Shang Mei's best friend Ying Mei.
Shan Mei was very sad and of course her best friend helps her through this hard time.
While after some time they both went back to Korea and Shan Mei wanted to work at the tv station as a reporter and yes really her so called best friend too from that day on Shan Mei realised that her best friend wanted everything she want.
They both passed the test and Shan Mei was helped by someone, that was her best friend Xiang Zhe he was the son of the big boss of the station, she was quite angry at him because he lied to her but of course best friends forgive each other.
Well Shan Mei's best friend Ying Mei was dating You Zhen, Shan Mei felt very sad and she kept on concentrating on her work.
Meanwhile, Xiang Zhe really likes Shan Mei but well he knows that she still likes You Zhen but he is dating Ying Mei.
But well when Shan Mei starts to fall in love with Xiang Zhe, Ying Mei found out that he helped Shan Mei a lot so she tried to make him fall for her what made You Zhen and Shan Mei sad but no Xiang Zhe won't fall for the trick he loves one girl and that's Shan Mei.

At the end You Zhen died for Ying Mei, well her ex-boyfriend was crazy and tried to kill her but You Zhen stopped the knife and she walked afraid backwards and a big car was coming so You Zhen ran to her and pushed her away but the big car knocked him down and he died.
That made Ying Mei crazy and she forgot everything she only had the picture of You Zhen when Shan Mei finally found her, Ying Mei kept on asking her: 'what kind of person am I?' Shan Mei was very sad, it was still her best friend after all.
Ying Mei showed Shan Mei the picture 'I really love him isn't it?' she asked with a smile, Shan Mei cried 'yes and you will always be my best friend and you were a nice and good person' with that they hugged each other and Shan Mei left. Ying Mei forgot everything she was teaching at a kinder garten.
Shan Mei was about to leave Korea she had the change to improve her skills in England, she and Xiang Zhe didn't know how to handle their feelings.
While he was taking her home when Shan Mei suddenly said that he had to stop the car he did, she said that she was going now because if he would take her home the farewell would be harder for them.
So she said bye and walked out the car she walked on the street while cars were passing her and tears were rolling down her cheeks.
Xiang Zhe looked down an grabbed the ring he bought for her out of his jacket and he ran after her he called her name and she turned around.
With a cheeky smile on his face he put the ring on her finger well Shan Mei was surprised by his actions.
'I can't let you go to England Shan Mei, I love you and I need you, do you want to marry me?' he smiled, with tears in her eyes Shan Mei also smiled, she nodded. With that they hugged each other and kissed each other while the cars were passing them and the street lights were shining brightly on them.

Best performance:
The four main actors: Jang Dong Gun, Chae Rim, Han Jae Suk and Kim So Yeon. The were all good!

Worst performance:
A girl who was in a few scenes she was working at the tv station.

Best scene:
That's the scene when Shan Mei called Xiang Zhe telling him that it was a year ago that they met, Xiang Zhe quickly rushed to her house which was really funny! At the end he end up running to her house, so cute!!!
Worst scene:
Well I can't think of one but there was a scene when I really cried that was the scene when You Zhen was knocked down and was brought to the hospital.
Everyone was there and Ying Mei was crying and crying and when the doctor pulled the blanket over his face there was some sad background music everyone cried and I cried too it was so touching.

Themesongs:
There are a few theme songs but the most famous ones are the beginning song 'True Love' by the Korean group Finkl and 'Shan Mei's theme' very nice songs although I don't understand a word Korean.

Everything together:
A very good series it's funny, dramatic and romantic, It is really worth to watch so if you can rent this series go and rent him it is good and the cast too.
By the way the series was in Mandarin the original version is in Korean.
It's a good series with a high quality.
