Alison: Ok, wait, just wait. Wait, listen to me. I'm sure that we can just talk about this later, ok, because I know that you've probably got a lot of questions and so do I. Rafe: Why? I mean, if we were so close, why --

Alison: All you have to remember, all you have to know, is that we really love each other. Ok, now that you're back with me, it's all going to be ok. Now that we have each other. Ok?

Alison: Please, you got -- you got to tell me the truth. What's really going on?
Rafe: I wish I could.
Alison: Oh -- oh, is that it? Do you -- is it some, like, sort of mission or something? Is it something special that god has sent you on or -- is it that?

Alison: The time that we spent together was seriously the most precious time that I've ever had in my whole life, and you said that it was the same for you, too.

Rafe: Well, tell me. How did it -- how did we -- our --

Alison: How did we fall in love? Well, we were -- we were just friends for a long time, actually, and then we just sort of -- I don't know. I mean, I was involved with somebody else.

Rafe: How involved?

Alison: Very involved. I wasn't looking to fall in love with you. We were just friends. But by chance or by fate, something kept putting us together in the same situation or the same place, and slowly but surely it kept getting harder to fight it. Until this one day, this one magical moment, you kissed me. And it was like -- it was like nothing I ever experienced before, and I didn't know what to do. I mean, I had always known, you know, where I was going and who I was going there with and who I was going to spend the rest of my life with until that very -- until that very moment. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to go, I didn't know who to to talk to. And all of a sudden, there you were. You were like this light, this bright and beautiful light coming out of the fog, just there to show me and to guide me. And you always said, "Alison, just follow your heart and let go of your fear." And so I did. And once I did that, I realized one thing that I kept on fighting the whole time was the one thing that I really wanted, and that was you. Because we were so perfect together. We were just completely drawn to each other. And, Rafe, the first time that you and I made love was so -- it was so tender because I really felt like I had found myself. I really felt like I had seen all the pieces of me from the person that I once was and in combination with the person that I am now. I felt like it was all just sort of connected together, and it was made one with you.

Rafe: Even though I don't remember?

Alison: Even though you don't remember right now. But why else do you think that you would've walked into this room? A room where you don't even know who's in there, and you kissed a woman that you -- you don't even know? And you woke me up when nothing else could. Why? Why do you think?

Alison: That's something that you need to remember on your own. But what I can tell you is that what we have is so right and so perfect, and I truly believe it with all of my heart and my soul that it's a feeling that will never, ever die. It's the same feeling that brought you through that door, and it brought your lips back to my lips.

Rafe: I want to remember. I really do.

Alison: I know. You know what? You will. Just don't try so hard, ok? It will come.

Alison: Mm-hmm, but even if he doesn't, even if he never actually remembers it like I remember it, all of the specific details, I really think that we would find our way back to each other. And Livvie, she doesn't know him. She doesn't know him like I do, you know, his heart and his soul, and I almost -- almost -- feel sorry for her.

Kate: Don't waste your sympathy on Livvie. She is the kind of viper who gives women a bad name. No, in fact, you should hope that she twists in the wind for all the lies that she's told and the pain that she has caused. She's a lying, conniving little bitch.

Alison: Oh.
Kate: Sorry. That sound like a harsh closing argument?
Alison: Well, I would vote to convict.
Kate: I'd vote to execute. Not literally, but you're right. Livvie's not going anywhere. She's like a virus that will infect everything that she touches, and she's got a big bag of tricks.

Alison: Yeah. But she'll never have Rafe.

Alison: I need to find you, Rafe. And I will. I will, I will, I will. You can do this, Alison, because sitting around just waiting for you to walk through that door is not an option, and neither is hoping that you somehow miraculously get your memory back. I'm going to find you soon. And I'm so sick of fighting fair. I will get you back. And, Livvie, you better really hope that you enjoy that time with Rafe because it's about to end soon.

Alison: Well, thank you! Thank you so much for all of your help in apprehending the suspect. Really appreciate it. Yes, and it is a very good idea to be on the good side of the police department. Rafe: Jack did. He said that you were practically losing it, that you might even hurt yourself…That was all one big lie, wasn’t it? That’s- that’s great. That’s nice. (pounding on the door again) Come on Jack!!!

Alison: (trying to hide her smile) I think he’s gone.
Rafe: You know, I’ve heard all these things about you, that you’re supposed to be this nice girl, this – this is really beneath you.

Alison: What are you talking about?
Rafe: The tricks, the lies, all that you know.
Alison: Oh right, yeah, that’s me. (sarcastically) I’m – I’m deceiving, and – and cheating you, and setting you up. That’s me.
Rafe: What am I supposed to think?
Alison: Why don’t you try thinking at all?

Alison: Fine, for whatever it’s worth this is what I think. Livvie, she’s not pregnant, but she is very desperate, and she’s willing to say and do anything to make sure that you don’t leave her. And just like you know how to put your pants on every day.

Rafe: (interrupting) What is that?
Alison: (keeps going on her tangent) You should be able to look past what you don’t know and can’t see, and pay attention to what you feel. Because we both know that you feel it, and you won’t let yourself.

Rafe: (trying to calm her down while she’s on her tangent) Ok, Alison, would you slow down for a minute? If you’d slow down for a minute, I could talk to you, so let me just talk to you
Alison: (still on her tangent, and she pushes Rafe down, and he falls over a trunk) And you’re making yourself so tense, because you won’t pay attention to what you want.

Rafe: (upset) Ok, that is it!!! Are you –?
Alison: When are you gonna stop being such a doofus? Huh?
Rafe: (still kinda mad) After you do that…doofus? (smiling)
Alison: Yeah, doofus, that’s what I called you!
Rafe: (beginning to laugh) Did you just call me a?
Alison: I called you a…(smiling)
Rafe: A doofus? (cracking up)

Rafe: Well, why?
Alison: Because I just wanted a reminder of you, and what we felt for each other, I wanted to know that it was really real. But really what mattered was how much we felt for each other, which was a lot. And I knew that in my lifetime I would never love anyone half as much as I loved you.
Rafe: (touched) Wow, I just…
Alison: I just really wanted to give you that. (her eyes are tearing up) I wanted to be a part of that with you (Rafe caresses her face) I wanted that, I wanted that

Alison: What do you feel? Can you honestly tell me that you feel nothing? That there’s nothing else there because I really don’t think so. I think that maybe there’s – there’s something- (Rafe keeps looking around while she’s talking, and trying to look away but he can’t, then he interrupts her words with a long, passionate kiss)

Rafe: What do you want me to say? You know, obviously I did it. Obviously I feel drawn to you for some reason. I don't exactly know why, but that doesn't change anything.

Alison: Oh, yes, it does. It changes everything.

Rafe: Fine. You want the truth? I'll tell you. Yeah, I felt something.
Alison: Thank you.
Rafe: I wouldn't be human if I didn't. I mean, we were involved once. There was obviously some sort of connection. You're a beautiful girl.

Rafe: Yeah.
Alison: Ok, good. So let's go.
Rafe: No, wait, wait. I don't want to have to worry about you, too.

Alison: You were my life.
Rafe: "Were."

Rafe: Don't you? When we were locked in that attic together, don't you understand how difficult it was for me to hold back from just showing you how much I wanted you? I want you now. Do you see?

Alison: Yeah.

Alison: Well, that's obviously too late.
Rafe: Don't fight me on this, ok? I can't go up against the avatar if I'm worried about you, too.

Alison: Rafe, I thought that I knew everything that there was to know about you. I mean, I remember how protective you were with Caleb and everything else, but I didn't really know you then like I know you now. You really feel it this time, don't you? You really feel your calling. I mean, this is what you're made to do.

Rafe: There's only one thing that I feel more strongly about.
Alison: I think that what you do is amazing. I think that you are amazing.

Alison: Oh. Yeah, I didn't -- I didn't get that same feeling.
Rafe: I know it sounds weird, but think about it for a second. I mean, me standing up to that thing, it could've gotten ugly but it didn't. It just walked away, so that makes me think that maybe there's some vulnerability still there, some sense of humanity and that I can exploit that.

Alison: Ok, whatever you're planning, I'm in with you. I'm going to help you, yes.
Rafe: No, Alison, I told --
Alison: I know what you told me, but I also told you that this town doesn't let just one person fight their battles -- even very talented but very stubborn vampire slayers.

Rafe: And you probably won't. Listen, I thought we talked about you not getting involved in this.
Alison: I know, but if I didn't, then I wouldn't be able to -- to share this little tidbit I found.
Rafe: What? What is it?
Alison: Well, I mean, you said it was kind of, you know, no big deal, so I don't -- I don't want to bore you with it, really.
Rafe: Ahem. Ok, please tell me what you found.

Rafe: I'm not going to let you fall. You're going to be safe. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise you. Alison, I came back for you! Now you come back for me! Come back to me!

Lucy: I -- I know what he would do for you because I know he would do anything for you, including sell his soul. And that radio -- that's proof over there.

Lucy: And you know Rafe better than anybody else, and you know he would do anything for the people he loves, and he loves you better than he loves himself.

Alison: Yeah, it was almost as if somebody up there knew that I would be needed here. I'm just so glad that I was here to help you. You have no idea how glad

Alison: Couldn't?
Rafe: Well -- see, I think I heard this little voice inside my head that told me that maybe it could help you or, you Alison maybe it was a way that had something to do with helping you.

Alison: Well, what's wrong with that? You know, everybody deserves to have fun and loosen up, let their hair down. Right? I mean, you think about going to Bermuda. Good for you. You think about laying on the beach and smelling the air. I think about Africa all the time.

Rafe: Africa?
Alison: Yes.
Rafe: Africa?
Alison: I really do. I've always wanted to go on a safari for, like, an entire month and think about nothing but watching the sunset on the Serengeti.

Rafe: That's awesome. That's incredible.
Alison: Yeah.
Rafe: Africa's actually quite beautiful. But you know what else I think about? Just taking a year to go around the world on on a yacht, just a whole year, you know?

Alison: Yeah? How big?
Rafe: Well, at least 30 feet.
Alison: Why not 40?
Rafe: Ok, that's -- 50, 50 feet. Why not? Why not?
Alison: Yeah, why not? You know what else I want to do? I want to eat. I want to eat and eat and eat, and I want to eat brownies draped with caramel sauce and -- and fudge and have it have no calories.

Rafe: Ok.
Alison: And you know what else I want to do? I want to smear myself head to toe with whipped cream and brownies and everything else and I just really want to have some --

Rafe: You.
Alison: What?
Rafe: I -- I want you, Alison. I want you.

Rafe: Ok, you know what? It's going to have to. It has to work because i can't be near you and not --

Alison: What? Feel what there is between us? It's impossible not to. And it's not going away. No matter how hard we try, we are going to end up in the same place again, face-to-face, wanting each other so badly that it hurts. So stop denying what your heart is telling you because, I swear, it's telling you the truth.

Rafe: Do you want me to say that if it weren't for Livvie and the baby, that things would be different? Fine, I'll say that, they would.

Alison: Why? How would things be different?
Rafe: Because if my life were different, then I would -- I'd want to spend more time with you, to see just what this is between us.

Alison: See, I think that you need to figure that out no matter what.

Alison: You know, the really hard part would be giving up on you because, Rafe, when you love someone that much, with all of your heart and soul, it gives you faith to hold on -- that maybe you should wait for that person no matter how long it takes.

Rafe: I feel so lost sometimes, but I believe in you, Alison, and now I know that walking away from you would be like walking away from this -- this deep part of myself. And it's a part of myself that I still don't understand.

Alison: For the first time in a really long time, I feel like you're seeing me.
Rafe: It's just -- I need to know once and for all. I need to spend time with you. And wherever that leads, I am going to follow. I'm not going to run away. Never again.

Alison: That's enough for now.
Rafe: Yeah. You know what? Why don't we just -- why don't we just have a day -- just a day, just for us?

Livvie: All I ever wanted was to make you happy. I know you're just tortured --
Rafe: Just shut the hell up, all right?
