Torn Quotes...

Jenn, thanks for transcribing the attic day for me
Marie, thanks for sending some quotes and pictures my way

Alison: Rafe?
Rafe: You know me.
Alison: Rafe --
Alison: Did I die? Is that what happened? Did I go to heaven?
Rafe: No, I don't think so.
Alison: So you're really here. You're really back with me? Oh, my god. I missed you so much. I missed you so much. Thank you, dear god, for bringing me one of your angels.

Alison: Ok, wait, just wait. Wait, listen to me. I'm sure that we can just talk about this later, ok, because I know that you've probably got a lot of questions and so do I. Ok, but just come here, just for a second. Just let me look at you. Please. I just want to -- I just want to look at you because I never thought that I would ever see you again in this lifetime.

Rafe: Why? I mean, if we were so close, why --

Alison: All you have to remember, all you have to know, is that we really love each other. Ok, now that you're back with me, it's all going to be ok. Now that we have each other. Ok?

Alison: Please, you got -- you got to tell me the truth. What's really going on?
Rafe: I wish I could.
Alison: Oh -- oh, is that it? Do you -- is it some, like, sort of mission or something? Is it something special that god has sent you on or -- is it that?

Alison: Well, at least you remembered that you were married, right? That's something, you know? It was a really beautiful ceremony, wasn't it?
Rafe: It was in this old barn.
Alison: I stood there with you. We promised our love to god for all of eternity. And remember I wore those little flowers in my hair?

Alison: The time that we spent together was seriously the most precious time that I've ever had in my whole life, and you said that it was the same for you, too.

Rafe: Well, tell me. How did it -- how did we -- our --

Alison: How did we fall in love? Well, we were -- we were just friends for a long time, actually, and then we just sort of -- I don't know. I mean, I was involved with somebody else.

Rafe: How involved?

Alison: Very involved. I wasn't looking to fall in love with you. We were just friends. But by chance or by fate, something kept putting us together in the same situation or the same place, and slowly but surely it kept getting harder to fight it. Until this one day, this one magical moment, you kissed me. And it was like -- it was like nothing I ever experienced before, and I didn't know what to do. I mean, I had always known, you know, where I was going and who I was going there with and who I was going to spend the rest of my life with until that very -- until that very moment. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to go, I didn't know who to to talk to. And all of a sudden, there you were. You were like this light, this bright and beautiful light coming out of the fog, just there to show me and to guide me. And you always said, "Alison, just follow your heart and let go of your fear." And so I did. And once I did that, I realized one thing that I kept on fighting the whole time was the one thing that I really wanted, and that was you. Because we were so perfect together. We were just completely drawn to each other. And, Rafe, the first time that you and I made love was so -- it was so tender because I really felt like I had found myself. I really felt like I had seen all the pieces of me from the person that I once was and in combination with the person that I am now. I felt like it was all just sort of connected together, and it was made one with you.

Alison: Rafe -- don't you see? You are my destiny. This is our destiny -- I believed that then, and I still do.

Rafe: Even though I don't remember?

Alison: Even though you don't remember right now. But why else do you think that you would've walked into this room? A room where you don't even know who's in there, and you kissed a woman that you -- you don't even know? And you woke me up when nothing else could. Why? Why do you think?

Rafe: Now, let's say everything you're saying is true. Ok, then what happened to us? I mean, if we had the kind of relationship that you say, then why would I leave?

Alison: That's something that you need to remember on your own. But what I can tell you is that what we have is so right and so perfect, and I truly believe it with all of my heart and my soul that it's a feeling that will never, ever die. It's the same feeling that brought you through that door, and it brought your lips back to my lips.

Rafe: I want to remember. I really do.

Alison: I know. You know what? You will. Just don't try so hard, ok? It will come.

Kate: Well, hopefully, Rafe will get his memory back.

Alison: Mm-hmm, but even if he doesn't, even if he never actually remembers it like I remember it, all of the specific details, I really think that we would find our way back to each other. And Livvie, she doesn't know him. She doesn't know him like I do, you know, his heart and his soul, and I almost -- almost -- feel sorry for her.

Kate: Don't waste your sympathy on Livvie. She is the kind of viper who gives women a bad name. No, in fact, you should hope that she twists in the wind for all the lies that she's told and the pain that she has caused. She's a lying, conniving little bitch.

Alison: Oh.
Kate: Sorry. That sound like a harsh closing argument?
Alison: Well, I would vote to convict.
Kate: I'd vote to execute. Not literally, but you're right. Livvie's not going anywhere. She's like a virus that will infect everything that she touches, and she's got a big bag of tricks.

Alison: Yeah. But she'll never have Rafe.

Alison: I need to find you, Rafe. And I will. I will, I will, I will. You can do this, Alison, because sitting around just waiting for you to walk through that door is not an option, and neither is hoping that you somehow miraculously get your memory back. I'm going to find you soon. And I'm so sick of fighting fair. I will get you back. And, Livvie, you better really hope that you enjoy that time with Rafe because it's about to end soon.

Alison: Well, thank you! Thank you so much for all of your help in apprehending the suspect. Really appreciate it. Yes, and it is a very good idea to be on the good side of the police department. Of course. And anything that we can ever do to help you and your drivers, you just don't hesitate to give us a call. Ok. You got it. Thank you very much.

Oh, I did it! I did it! I knew I could do it. Ooh, I'm so good! I knew that I could do it. Sorry I had to call you "wanted," Rafe, but, you know, you do what you got to do.

---

Ok, sweetheart, I'm coming. I'm not coming home without you.

Jack: Rafe, hey, you made it.
Rafe: There's a lot of hallways, man.
Jack: Yeah. Look, I guess I should thank you for coming.
Rafe: No problem. Where is she?
Jack: She's in there. She's really upset. Look, I really can't get through to her, so good luck.
Rafe: Ok.
Alison: Rafe, is that you?
Rafe: Yeah. Jack said that you might want to talk or --
Alison: Rafe, hi.
Jack: Here you go.
Alison: Jack, what are you doing?
Rafe: Jack, what the hell --
Alison and Rafe: Jack!
Jack: You guys have fun.
Rafe: Come on! He locked the door. Actually locked the door. We're -- we're stuck.

Rafe: (pounding on the door) Jack, come on, this isn’t funny.
Alison: It’s…the door is probably locked.
Rafe: I know it is, I told you…wait a minute, what’s going on? You don’t seem that upset?
Alison: Well, who said that I was?

Rafe: Jack did. He said that you were practically losing it, that you might even hurt yourself…That was all one big lie, wasn’t it? That’s- that’s great. That’s nice. (pounding on the door again) Come on Jack!!!

Alison: (trying to hide her smile) I think he’s gone.
Rafe: You know, I’ve heard all these things about you, that you’re supposed to be this nice girl, this – this is really beneath you.

Alison: What are you talking about?
Rafe: The tricks, the lies, all that you know.
Alison: Oh right, yeah, that’s me. (sarcastically) I’m – I’m deceiving, and – and cheating you, and setting you up. That’s me.
Rafe: What am I supposed to think?
Alison: Why don’t you try thinking at all?

Alison: And then all of a sudden there’s Livvie, she’s conveniently pregnant at the same time, and common sense it flies right out the window.
Rafe: Ok, look…
Alison: I am looking!
Rafe: (interrupting) No, you…
Alison: I am, I am!!! That’s the difference between you and me. What I see is that I see things with my eyes open. You should really try that because the view from here is amazing.
Rafe: (frustrated) Ok, ok. Fine. Maybe, I’m looking the wrong place, so help me out!!!

Alison: Fine, for whatever it’s worth this is what I think. Livvie, she’s not pregnant, but she is very desperate, and she’s willing to say and do anything to make sure that you don’t leave her. And just like you know how to put your pants on every day.

Rafe: (interrupting) What is that?
Alison: (keeps going on her tangent) You should be able to look past what you don’t know and can’t see, and pay attention to what you feel. Because we both know that you feel it, and you won’t let yourself.

Rafe: (trying to calm her down while she’s on her tangent) Ok, Alison, would you slow down for a minute? If you’d slow down for a minute, I could talk to you, so let me just talk to you
Alison: (still on her tangent, and she pushes Rafe down, and he falls over a trunk) And you’re making yourself so tense, because you won’t pay attention to what you want.

Rafe: (upset) Ok, that is it!!! Are you –?
Alison: When are you gonna stop being such a doofus? Huh?
Rafe: (still kinda mad) After you do that…doofus? (smiling)
Alison: Yeah, doofus, that’s what I called you!
Rafe: (beginning to laugh) Did you just call me a?
Alison: I called you a…(smiling)
Rafe: A doofus? (cracking up)

Alison: You know, I know that you want a family. I know that’s really important to you because we used to talk about it all the time. And once upon a time I actually asked that you would give me a child.
Rafe: You? Wait, I –I just…
Alison: I know, you, I know that’s ok, you don’t have to say anything.
Rafe: I don’t even remember
Alison: Cause actually it was a little selfish of me.
Rafe: It’s selfish? Why?
Alison: Because I knew you couldn’t stay. And I knew that what we had, it wouldn’t last because of it. But, I wanted something to stay while you were gone. I’m actually a little embarrassed about it, now that I think back.

Rafe: Well, why?
Alison: Because I just wanted a reminder of you, and what we felt for each other, I wanted to know that it was really real. But really what mattered was how much we felt for each other, which was a lot. And I knew that in my lifetime I would never love anyone half as much as I loved you.
Rafe: (touched) Wow, I just…
Alison: I just really wanted to give you that. (her eyes are tearing up) I wanted to be a part of that with you (Rafe caresses her face) I wanted that, I wanted that

Rafe: I know how I feel. Ok, maybe I don’t know why, but so what. I’ll figure out the reasons later, or maybe not, sometimes we never know why we feel the way we do.
Alison: (nodding) But the heart knows
Rafe: Yes!
Alison: So then, you may or may not know why you feel something for me, but – but you do.
Rafe: Yes! I feel something for you. Ok, I care. I do, I do. But that doesn’t change anything. When I look at you, yes, I feel something, but it could be just friendship, I mean a really deep friendship, sometimes but friends can feel more and…I’m a married man.
Alison: Prove it to me.
Rafe: Prove what?
Alison: Kiss me.
Rafe: A, a kiss? (looking in her eyes)
Alison: (steps closer to Rafe) Listen, kiss me just one time, and if all you feel is friendship and it’s meaningless then I promise I will never bother you or Livvie ever again. Just kiss me, one time. Just once. (Alison strokes Rafe’s cheek, and they lean in and kiss. After kissing a couple minutes, they pull back)

Alison: What do you feel? Can you honestly tell me that you feel nothing? That there’s nothing else there because I really don’t think so. I think that maybe there’s – there’s something- (Rafe keeps looking around while she’s talking, and trying to look away but he can’t, then he interrupts her words with a long, passionate kiss)

Alison: You didn't answer my question. I asked you how it felt to kiss me.

Rafe: What do you want me to say? You know, obviously I did it. Obviously I feel drawn to you for some reason. I don't exactly know why, but that doesn't change anything.

Alison: Oh, yes, it does. It changes everything.

Rafe: Fine. You want the truth? I'll tell you. Yeah, I felt something.
Alison: Thank you.
Rafe: I wouldn't be human if I didn't. I mean, we were involved once. There was obviously some sort of connection. You're a beautiful girl.

Alison: I think that you're afraid to remember. I think that you're afraid because you're going to realize what you're living right now -- it's all one big lie. Not me, not us. I think that you're afraid to remember how much you really loved me. So much that you didn't even know where I ended and you began. You can deny it all you want, but you love me. You love me and you want me, and you can feel it so much that it hurts. Just admit it. Just admit it.

Alison: And you know, no matter the situation between us right now, whatever she's done, I would never want anything bad to happen to her. You believe me, don't you?

Rafe: Yeah.
Alison: Ok, good. So let's go.
Rafe: No, wait, wait. I don't want to have to worry about you, too.

Rafe: There's not another face in all the world that -- and for weeks it just kept calling out to me, shining like some kind of light in the darkness. The first time that I actually saw your face -- or the first time I remember, anyway -- it was like there was something in me sleeping that was waking up. And I just -- I had to -- I wasn't thinking, not for a second. I just did what I thought was right, and that's why I kissed you. Not just to bring you back, but kind of to bring me back to life.

Alison: You were my life.
Rafe: "Were."
Alison: Don't you see that --
Rafe: Don't you? When we were locked in that attic together, don't you understand how difficult it was for me to hold back from just showing you how much I wanted you? I want you now. Do you see?

Rafe: Wait. Don't go. I'm sorry. It's just so hard to watch you walk away. I mean -- this is strange. I don't remember us, but I know what I'd be giving up.

Alison: Right. Some connections are so strong, you feel them no matter what.

Rafe: I'd give anything to not have it be this way.
Alison: Me, too.

Alison: Rafe, what's going on here?
Rafe: Nothing.
Alison: Nothing? Well, I don't usually get tackled like that every day of the week, so --
Rafe: Well, I just -- I thought that maybe you were in trouble, but I was wrong. I just followed my instincts.
Alison: I know. You tend to do that when --
Rafe: Do what?
Alison: When you're afraid for people, you try and protect them.
Rafe: Yeah, well, I just hope you're not hurt, that's all.
Alison: No, I'm very tough. I'm fine. So, I guess it's going to be sort of weird. We're going to be running into each other a lot, I guess, then.

Rafe: Yeah.
Alison: Yeah.
Rafe: Just hopefully not quite so hard.
Alison: I think this will always be hard unless one of us moves to Australia or something.
Rafe: Excuse me -- Australia? You can forget about that. Kangaroos give me the creeps.
Alison: Why? Ok, don't look at me because I don't want to do that whole summer switch-up winter thing.
Rafe: Ok, well, I guess we are doomed to stay here forever.
Alison: Yeah. I think we're just going to have to try and make it bearable.
Rafe: Yeah, at least it won't be koala bearable. Did I just say that?
Alison: I think so.
Rafe: Sorry. "You know, Rafe, keep your day job."
Alison: Yeah.

Rafe: "We" are not going to stop anything, ok? No. It's not going to happen. This is my problem, and I need you to stay away, as far away from it as possible.

Alison: Well, that's obviously too late.
Rafe: Don't fight me on this, ok? I can't go up against the avatar if I'm worried about you, too.

Alison: Rafe, I thought that I knew everything that there was to know about you. I mean, I remember how protective you were with Caleb and everything else, but I didn't really know you then like I know you now. You really feel it this time, don't you? You really feel your calling. I mean, this is what you're made to do.

Rafe: There's only one thing that I feel more strongly about.
Alison: I think that what you do is amazing. I think that you are amazing.

Alison: I'm really glad that fighting this avatar gives you some sense of purpose, but aren't you, like, a little bit scared?
Rafe: Oh, yeah. I'm scared -- I'm scared for everyone, but at the same time --
Alison: What?
Rafe: Well, just -- see, this is going to sound weird, but when I finally came face to face with its host, it was almost like it was -- well, it was kind of a gentleman.

Alison: Oh. Yeah, I didn't -- I didn't get that same feeling.
Rafe: I know it sounds weird, but think about it for a second. I mean, me standing up to that thing, it could've gotten ugly but it didn't. It just walked away, so that makes me think that maybe there's some vulnerability still there, some sense of humanity and that I can exploit that.

Alison: Ok, whatever you're planning, I'm in with you. I'm going to help you, yes.
Rafe: No, Alison, I told --
Alison: I know what you told me, but I also told you that this town doesn't let just one person fight their battles -- even very talented but very stubborn vampire slayers.

Rafe: What are you doing?
Alison: I'm just -- I'm doing some work. I kind of get my best work done here at the pizza shack.
Rafe: Work? Really?
Alison: Yeah. But I can't actually find a lot of information on the avatar here.

Rafe: And you probably won't. Listen, I thought we talked about you not getting involved in this.
Alison: I know, but if I didn't, then I wouldn't be able to -- to share this little tidbit I found.
Rafe: What? What is it?
Alison: Well, I mean, you said it was kind of, you know, no big deal, so I don't -- I don't want to bore you with it, really.
Rafe: Ahem. Ok, please tell me what you found.

Alison: Rafe --

Rafe: I'm not going to let you fall. You're going to be safe. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise you. Alison, I came back for you! Now you come back for me! Come back to me!

Alison: All I'm saying is you know Rafe. He's your cousin. You know that he knows good and he knows bad. He knows heaven and he knows hell. He wouldn't do that. He would never do that.

Lucy: I -- I know what he would do for you because I know he would do anything for you, including sell his soul. And that radio -- that's proof over there.

Alison: Ok, no, listen to me. You know Rafe. He's your cousin. I mean, you knew him first. He would never do this. He would never -- he would never do something like this. He's a good angel, and he likes being one. He likes to help people. That's who he is, and that's what he does.

Lucy: And you know Rafe better than anybody else, and you know he would do anything for the people he loves, and he loves you better than he loves himself.

Lucy: A real sign.
Alison: My god, I can't believe it.
Lucy: I can't believe it, either. This is amazing. You got -- you just got an actual message from heaven.
Alison: "A soul without love is a lost soul."
Lucy: Oh, no, you know what this means? This means we were right and we just received proof.
Alison: I can't believe it. It's really true.
Lucy: Rafe's soul is lost forever -- unless you make him fall in love with you again.
Rafe: Well, still -- you risked your life.
Alison: Well, you helped save me when I fell off the cliff, so I just figured I owed you.
Rafe: Yeah. I guess we're even, huh?
Alison: Yeah, I guess we're even.

Alison: Yeah, it was almost as if somebody up there knew that I would be needed here. I'm just so glad that I was here to help you. You have no idea how glad

Alison: Well, let's just hope that you know who up there knows about this little chapel down here and heard me.
Rafe: I have a feeling he hears everyone.
Alison: Yeah.
Rafe: Especially someone with a heart and soul as pure as yours

Alison: Where did you find this? This is Kevin's candle.
Rafe: What do you mean, Kevin's candle?
Alison: Never mind. Where did you find this?
Rafe: I found it in the woods. I could pretty much show you the spot. I mean, it was out there in the middle of the trees. Obviously it didn't seem like it belonged, so I -- I just picked it up and -- I don't know why -- I couldn't get rid of it.

Alison: Couldn't?
Rafe: Well -- see, I think I heard this little voice inside my head that told me that maybe it could help you or, you Alison maybe it was a way that had something to do with helping you.

Jamal: Jack told me that it was a matter of life and death. What's up with that?
Alison: It's worse than that.
Jamal: It is?
Alison: It's like the worst thing you could ever imagine.
Jamal: Ok. So let's just pretend that I won't think it's crazy or nothing like that, ok? What do you need to do?
Alison: Nothing much, really. I just need Rafe to fall in love with me again so that he doesn't spend all of eternity rotting in hell.

Jamal: Rafe -- he needs a little kick in the pants.
Alison: You're very persistent, aren't you?
Jamal: Speak of the devil. Dang, just back from hell, too.
Alison: Jamal --
Jamal: What?
Alison: So, I guess we really haven't gotten the hang of this not bumping into each other thing.
Rafe: You know, it seems like we keep seeing each other without even really trying. It's almost like it's des--
Alison: Destiny.
Rafe: Destiny, yeah.

Rafe: Sometimes I wish my calling was someone else's. You know, then I could just take off and just go to Bermuda or -- or Hawaii, or something like that, you know.

Alison: Well, what's wrong with that? You know, everybody deserves to have fun and loosen up, let their hair down. Right? I mean, you think about going to Bermuda. Good for you. You think about laying on the beach and smelling the air. I think about Africa all the time.

Rafe: Africa?
Alison: Yes.
Rafe: Africa?
Alison: I really do. I've always wanted to go on a safari for, like, an entire month and think about nothing but watching the sunset on the Serengeti.

Rafe: That's awesome. That's incredible.
Alison: Yeah.
Rafe: Africa's actually quite beautiful. But you know what else I think about? Just taking a year to go around the world on on a yacht, just a whole year, you know?

Alison: Yeah? How big?
Rafe: Well, at least 30 feet.
Alison: Why not 40?
Rafe: Ok, that's -- 50, 50 feet. Why not? Why not?
Alison: Yeah, why not? You know what else I want to do? I want to eat. I want to eat and eat and eat, and I want to eat brownies draped with caramel sauce and -- and fudge and have it have no calories.

Rafe: Ok.
Alison: And you know what else I want to do? I want to smear myself head to toe with whipped cream and brownies and everything else and I just really want to have some --

Rafe: You.
Alison: What?
Rafe: I -- I want you, Alison. I want you.

Alison: I want you, too. I want you more than I've ever wanted anything in my entire life.
Rafe: I -- I keep saying things that I just -- I shouldn't.
Alison: Yes, but it's how you feel, isn't it?
Rafe: It doesn't matter.
Alison: Of course it does. It's the only thing that does matter. Rafe, I know that you have obligations and you're fighting as hard as you can to keep those obligations, but you also have an obligation to yourself -- and that's to do what your heart is telling you to do. And that's the truth. I won't let you do this. I won't let you run from me anymore.

Rafe: Please, please. Please, let this go.
Alison: And then what? Try and stay away from each other again? Because we tried that. We tried that over and over and over, and it doesn't work.

Rafe: Ok, you know what? It's going to have to. It has to work because i can't be near you and not --

Alison: What? Feel what there is between us? It's impossible not to. And it's not going away. No matter how hard we try, we are going to end up in the same place again, face-to-face, wanting each other so badly that it hurts. So stop denying what your heart is telling you because, I swear, it's telling you the truth.

Rafe: What do you want me to say?
Alison: That I'm right. We belong together.

Rafe: Do you want me to say that if it weren't for Livvie and the baby, that things would be different? Fine, I'll say that, they would.

Alison: Why? How would things be different?
Rafe: Because if my life were different, then I would -- I'd want to spend more time with you, to see just what this is between us.

Alison: See, I think that you need to figure that out no matter what.

Livvie: Can you promise me to stay away from her?
Rafe: No. You know what? I don't know if I can.
Livvie: Are you telling me that you're refusing to stop seeing Alison?
Rafe: That -- that's right.

Rafe: God, if you're really listening, please help me. I know I'm a married man, but I do not know how much longer I can stay away from Alison.

Rafe: I wasn't really expecting to see you here.
Alison: Isn't that the way that it always works with us?
Rafe: Yeah, it's pretty amazing the way our paths just keep crossing.
Alison: Even when we're trying to fight it.
Rafe: Yeah. So I guess the question is -- ahem -- what are we going to do about it?

Rafe: You always have faith, no matter what.
Alison: Enough for both of us.
Rafe: Yeah. I mean, you never gave up on us, no matter what happened to you.

Alison: You know, the really hard part would be giving up on you because, Rafe, when you love someone that much, with all of your heart and soul, it gives you faith to hold on -- that maybe you should wait for that person no matter how long it takes.

Rafe: I feel so lost sometimes, but I believe in you, Alison, and now I know that walking away from you would be like walking away from this -- this deep part of myself. And it's a part of myself that I still don't understand.

Alison: For the first time in a really long time, I feel like you're seeing me.
Rafe: It's just -- I need to know once and for all. I need to spend time with you. And wherever that leads, I am going to follow. I'm not going to run away. Never again.

Rafe: This is crazy. I mean, I still can't remember anything, just so you know. But, I mean, I can just do something like this and it feels right. That's all I know.

Alison: That's enough for now.
Rafe: Yeah. You know what? Why don't we just -- why don't we just have a day -- just a day, just for us?

Alison: Yeah. It sounds like heaven. A day where we can just spend just being us and not pretending about what we feel.
Rafe: Yes, yes, yes. And just be open to whatever happens and not try to figure anything out.

Rafe: It was a life built on lies! And if anything ever happens to Alison because of you --
Livvie: Oh, would you just stop it, Rafe, please? Give me a lie detector! I don't know anything!

Rafe: You know what? I would if I thought it would make you tell the truth. But you're so cold and so determined, I -- you know what I think? I think you're beginning to believe your own lies.

Livvie: All I ever wanted was to make you happy. I know you're just tortured --
Rafe: Just shut the hell up, all right?

Rafe: And I'm done -- I'm through pretending, Livvie? I don't love you, and I can't stay with you anymore. All right?

Livvie: So, what, is Alison your destiny? Is that it? You really -- You really think she is out there waiting for you?
Rafe: I don't know what my destiny is. I just know it's not you.
Livvie: What about me finding you in the woods? What -- what about me carrying your child?

Rafe: Ok, I can't -- I can't -- I can't! I can't go through this with you anymore! All right? I'm just -- I'm going to be a father to my child no matter what, but you and I? We're over.

Rafe: Who knows, maybe this is a special place for both of us. God. Why did it take me so long to figure out? It's the only thing that makes sense. It's the only thing that ever made sense. We belong, Alison. We belong together.

Rafe: There it is, right where it belongs. Right where it always belonged. I wish you could see it, Alison. I looked everywhere for you. I can't find you. Just come to me. Come to me. Come to our special place.

Alison: Our names -- you carved them again.
Rafe: Because I had to.
Alison: After all that's happened, why did you do that?
Rafe: Because I -- I love you.
Alison: What?
Rafe: I love you, Alison.

Alison: What did you just say?
Rafe: That I love you. I do. I do. With all my heart.
Alison: Oh, my god, I thought you would never remember.
Rafe: No, no, no --
Alison: I thought that it would never come back to you.
Rafe: No, that -- that's the thing. I don't -- I don't -- I still don't remember.
Alison: What?
Rafe: You know what? That doesn't matter. Because I don't love you for our past and all that. I -- I love you for now. I've fallen in love with you, Alison.

Alison: What's the matter? What is it?
Rafe: I remember.
Alison: What do you remember? Do you remember us? Do you remember us being together? What do you remember?

Rafe: I was just -- everything! All of it! It's all come back to me. I remember you. I remember me. I remember us -- us together -- before -- before. I -- I remember everything. I remember!

Alison: You came back to me. You came back.

Alison: All that matters is this moment, ok? I have waited so long for this moment. Nothing she does ever again or that she has done matters. It'll never come between us, ok? I just want to think about this moment. I just want to think about you. Ok?

Rafe: About us.
Alison: Yeah. Yeah.
Rafe: Do you know what it feels like to be this close to you again? To feel my lips against yours?

Rafe: You're the only woman I ever loved. Just you.
Alison: When we said our vows here in our place, I didn't really know just how much that we would be tested. I promised to carry your love with me forever.

Rafe: Forever.
Alison: See, I feel like I was such a different person then and I was such a little girl because I didn't -- I didn't really understand what it was that we were actually saying and doing.

Rafe: And now?
Alison: And now I know what it means to really love someone when it seems like it's impossible. For better or for worse.
Rafe: In sickness and health.
Alison: Forever and forever. The love you carry inside you that one minute can rip you apart and the next minute can make your heart beat faster and faster.

Rafe: I feel so lucky just to be standing with you here right now and to have nothing but -- but love in your eyes coming towards me after everything that I did.

Alison: No, Rafe -- no --
Rafe: You know what? Loving you is like breathing. And just as much as air or water, you give me life.
Alison: Oh, Rafe.
Rafe: It's the purest, most holy thing that god ever created, that ever happened to me ever. And I love you. I love you. I love you so much.

Alison: Well, now, if you would like to, you may kiss your bride.
Rafe: My wife. My Alison.
[Gunshot]
Alison: Rafe? Rafe? Rafe?
Rafe: My angel -

Alison: You need a doctor.
Rafe: No, no -- all I need is you. All these amazing memories are coming back to me now.
Alison: You really need some help.
Rafe: You -- you and me -- the first time we kissed. I mean, the first time we really kissed. Do you remember that? You -- you asked me what it was that I -- I really wanted more than anything. And all I could see was this beautiful woman sitting in front of me. And I had completely fallen in love with you. And all I could think about was holding you and kissing you. Remember?

Alison: Yeah. I remember every single second, every -- every kiss we ever had. And when we made love.
Rafe: And that day on the beach.
Alison: Yeah, I remember the day on the beach. You were holding me so close -- so close to your heart, and the sun -- it was shining, and we really felt like it was shining just for us that day. And I thought to myself, this must be what heaven is like.

Rafe: And -- and then we made a sandcastle and I said I wished that we could --
Rafe and Alison: Live in that house forever.

Rafe: I'm ok. I'm better than I have ever been. Ok? Because I have the most important thing with me. I have you. Ok? I have you, and that's the most important thing in the world. In the -- in the universe. And I have all of our memories. And that makes me the luckiest man who ever lived.
Alison: Rafe, I got a sign. I really did. I got a sign that said that if you fell in love with me again, then your soul would be spared, and you did it. You really did it, against all the odds. You didn't have your memory and against everything that Livvie did, you still did it because your love brought us back together again. Because you and I -- we're one soul, we're one heart forever.

Rafe: I just wanted to come back to say good-bye because we never really got a chance to say a real good-bye.
Alison: Listen, I will never forget you -- ever. I will love you for the rest of my life. And every morning when I wake up, in my heart, I will kiss you awake. And every night, when I go to sleep, I will say a prayer for you. Ok? I'm going to be ok. I'll be down here, and I will live life for both of us. Rafe, it was selfish of me to have called you back, and I'm sorry.

Rafe: No, no, no -- I -- I would have come back anyway.

Rafe: I have never loved another woman, I have never called anyone else wife in my heart.
Alison: My sweet husband.

Alison: Rafe! Rafe!
Rafe: They sent me back! Whoo! They sent me back to be with you!
