Rafe: I miss her already, so much. Paige, how do you ever smile again if you know you're not ever going to see the face that lights up your world?
Paige: By remembering all the days you spent together, the love you shared, and then one day you'll think of her and simply smile at the joy of having loved her, and that's when the pain will stop and you will be able to let her go.
Rafe: It'll never happen.
Alison: Oh, god, it is you. Oh, you are real. Oh, the way that you feel and the way that I feel when look at me. Oh, that smile -- oh. The way your eyes -- they crinkle at the corners when you smile. God, I feel like my heart has just ached -- oh, for, like, 1,000 years. I haven't seen you in so long, and that smile and those eyes --
Rafe: I know. I know. All I do is I dream about just -- just that part of your neck. And -- and the inside of your arm. And how when my heartbeat and yours are so close, it's like they're in the same rhythm. That's when I know I'm exactly where I belong.
Rafe: You are home.
Alison: Oh, look at that. You have your magic back.
Rafe: Oh, when i have you, I have magic. That's the way it always was, always will be.
Alison: Well, whatever it is, I love it. And I love this rose and I love you.
Ed: Grab a seat, wise guy. You have any idea why I called you in?
Rafe: Oh, let me guess -- you want me to show a little more company spirit, right?
Ed: Lousy guess.
Rafe: Ok, well, don't tell me. I won the office pool?
Ed: What in the world is wrong with you? You know your time down on earth is over. Why would you leave alison a pink rose?
Ed: Ah, here it comes.
Rafe: See, I was just having this incredible dream. Alison and I were dancing and I felt her in my arms as if we'd never been apart.
Ed: Lovely.
Rafe: The thing is that Alison just happened to be having the same exact dream and our dreams just sort of connected and I just wanted her to know that I was with her, you know? Come on, it was one lousy rose!
Ed: One rose today, tomorrow a whole bouquet. You bend the rule one more time and all hell is going to break loose, I'm telling you, and this is literally.
Rafe: Yeah, but if you could just see how happy that one rose made her.
Rafe: Big deal.
Ed: And continuing for 200 years. How's that, big mouth?
Rafe: I don't care! You know what -- you could make scrub the pearly gates from top to bottom with a toothbrush and if I see a way I can reach out to Alison, I'm going to do it!
Ed: That a boy, kid. You tell her.
Rafe: Ed.
Ed: I got to tell you, son -- I think you finally found your true calling.
Rafe: I told you everything would work out.
Alison: I know. It's finally over.
Rafe: Kevin's back, and everyone knows you're innocent. You're free, Alison.
Alison: I know. For the first time in a really long time, everyone's -- everyone's so happy. You know, Jamal's found a new love, Jack and Livvie are back together, and Livvie and I are friends again.
Rafe: And I am here with you.
Alison: I know. And that's the best part. You worked your magic. You made everything right for me.
Rafe: I love you, Alison. The magic just follows.
Rafe: How could anyone think you'd hurt anyone?
Alison: Well, don't you think that you're a little biased?
Rafe: Hmm -- you think? Here's the thing -- anyone who's spent more than, you know, five minutes with you would know what kind of person you are. You're kind and loving, and you have a beautiful heart.
Alison: A heart that only belongs to you.
Rafe: All the bad stuff's over, Alison. We are together.
Alison: I know. And you did it. You did the impossible. You found your way back to me.
Alison: Well, it's about a lot of things, really. But mostly it's about the man that I love. You know, he's a really good guy, sort of like an angel. But he's gone because of his job.
Minister: Have you considered joining him?
Alison: Yeah, I did. We both did, actually, but the timing, it just didn't quite work.
Minister: And you miss him.
Alison: So much it hurts. You know, we were so in love, but now that he's gone I almost feel like he's sort of haunting me.
Minister: Haunting you?
Alison: Sometimes I reach out my hand, and I can almost feel his hand intertwined in mine like --
Rafe: An unbreakable vine. That's what it feels like. I don't even know who it is, but it feels like someone is holding my hand.
Alison: He's a guy that's not coming back.
Kate: And you still think he's wonderful?
Alison: He was such a good man. He was so sweet, he was so -- he was so loving. And the reason why he left -- well, it wasn't -- it wasn't his choice.
Kate: Well, he sounds like the kind of guy who wouldn't want you to sacrifice yourself for him.
Alison: No, he's not.
Kate: Sounds like the kind of guy who would tell you to fight like hell and try to stay focused.
Alison: That's right.
Kate: The kind of guy who, win or lose your case, would shower you with bouquets.
Alison: No, not bouquets, just -- just one perfect pink rose.
Kate: So why'd he leave?
Alison: Because he's -- he's an angel and --
Kate: And?
Alison: They made him go back. You know.
Kate: Alison, of everything you've told me, this --
Alison: Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine. Don't even bother. Ok, don't worry about it. I know, I'm nuts. I am crazy. I see people -- I see dead people and they come out of paintings and I talk to them over lattes -- well, I do -- and now I'm in love with an angel. That's great. That's fine. You know, I should've -- I should've known that you would never believe me.
Alison: There. Yeah, that's perfect. See, Rafe, I made a vow to you, a vow and a promise that i was going to love you and honor you forever. So that is just what i'm going to do. No matter what anybody else says, I'm going to sit here and I'm going to wait for you, because I can almost picture you walking through that door with an armful of pink roses. So I'm going to sit here and I'm going to wait for you. I'm going to wait for you forever.
Man: Oh. So, back again, huh? Sorry, I'm all out of pink roses.
Rafe: Really?
Man: Yeah. You know, somebody else was asking about them. Maybe it was your girl.
Rafe: My girl? What'd she look like?
Man: Real pretty, blonde, big blue eyes --
Rafe: A great smile that started on the inside and shined all the way out?
Man: That's the one.
So, you know her, hmm?
Rafe: I must.
Jack: You know what? Me, Ian, Lucy, and Jamal -- we're not going to stop fighting for you. But I know that we're not who you need. Wow. I wish I could bring him back to you, Alison. I do. Because I know you'd hear Rafe.
Rafe: Oh, my god. It's her. I know you. I know your face. Your lips. Your smile.
Alison: Rafe.
Rafe: You know me.
Alison: Rafe?
