7/17/02:

Rafe with Livvie is nothing less than nauseating, and watching requires a handful of tums and a big bottle of good ole pepto bismol, but I have to say, Jack and Alison is a more gentle pill to swallow. Maybe that's just b/c I adore Erin Hershey and Brian Presley to bits and pieces, or maybe it's b/c I love Jack and he's a good guy. He would never manipulate Alison like Livvie is manipulating Rafe.

Okay, so there has been some talk about a Jack/Alison pairing. I'm not saying that I would want a pairing with them, otherwise the point of me having a RALI site would be? But I'm not bothered with where the story is going, that's my point.

I honestly don't think we're headed for a Jack/Alison pairing, b/c I know that in the end, Rafe and Alison will find their way back to each other. But what you have to understand is that Jack and Alison have been friends for a long time, and they've had reason to bond more now that they have both been burned by Livvie. Jack wants nothing more than to protect his friend, and he wants Alison happy. Come on, he locked the two in the attic, and we know how Jack feels about Rafe! He just wanted to see his friend happy.

As for Alison, we're looking at a woman whose heart will always belong to Rafe's, and nothing can change that. All you have to do is put yourself in Alison's shoes and see how she would feel. As far as I'm concerned, Jack has been an incredible friend whom she can lean on for support, but just remember, her heart belongs to Rafe ;)

Anyway, I just wanted to tell ppl that it's nothing to worry about. It's a soap and yes, things will take interesting twists and sometimes nauseating lol, but that's okay, b/c PC isn't going to keep Rafe and Alison apart forever. Just think how wonderful the reunion will be! It will be worth the wait!

And another thing, totally off topic from the show, but I think we should all respect Erin and Brian Presley's relationship and not get all freaked out that personal and professional life is getting blurred. I don't think it has but it appears others feel differently on the matter. Don't get all worked up about it! So what? They are involved in real life. Big deal. Come on, I hardly think BP charged into JHC's office and demanded that she give him and Erin more scenes together and pair Rafe up with Livvie OR ELSE! lol. Can you imagine our sweet BP doing that? lolol...too funny.
