The Rali Commentary
5/29/02:
Well, I've called down a bit since the other day. LOL
Today's scenes not only confirmed my faith in the writers that the Rali reunion is going to happen, but it was nice to have a scene with Rafe and Alison...well okay, so they didn't actually have a scene together, but they sorta did. LOL
I love the whole idea of both of them meeting at the same church at the same time to get advice, and what could be a better place to get advice than a church itself?
The way Rafe and Alison felt a connection was pretty eerie, like when Alison held out her hand, saying she almost felt like his hand was interwined with hers, and Rafe was holding his hand out at the same time, feeling as if someone was holding it. I think that in itself speaks for how stong their connection is. They aren't just lovers, they literally are soulmates. They both feel their lives are spinning "out of control" and it's true, b/c ya know, they really are lost w/o each other! ;)
Ed and James watching the show from the white/black room was a hoot. (Did you notice they even had matching black and white chairs?) Ed has faith that Rafe and Alison will find their way back to each other, b/c their love is that stong. James, as usual, thinks he knows what he's talking about, and he expects Rafe to fail, but we all know good will win over evil in the end, don't we? Or otherwise, what was that whole arc w/ Caleb about? lol
Just an afterthought...I'd love to see this reverend guy again. I could see him performing a marriage ceremony ;) (and no, I don't mean a Rivvie one LOL)
