Alex started crawling this month. He crawls all over the house with no fear of the tile. He just goes wherever he wants. Fortunately he prefers to be in the same room as me so I don't have to do too much chasing. He also pulls himself into the standing position and is just beginning to "cruise." He is still a bit wobbly on the legs though.
We finally found something that he likes to eat... rice cereal. I can't believe he likes it. It has no flavor. I tried mixing it with homemade apple juice and he likes it even better. Now he will even eat it mixed with applesauce. He also seems to like oatmeal. I've tried feeding him the other things again, but he still spits them out. Either he doesn't like the really smooth consistency, or the flavor must be too strong.
No change on the sleeping. He starts in the crib, but ends on the couch with me. If I get him to sleep the whole night in the crib, he wakes at 5:30am. If he is with me on the couch, I can feed him at 5:00 and usually get him to keep snoozing until 7 or 8 - a much more reasonable time in my opinion.
