Alex is now four months old. He is still the easy going child that he has always been. He is now playing with toys and spending more and more time reaching for things. In addition to his feet, he has also found his ears and likes holding them. He is also rolling from his back to his tummy quite consistently. He can sometimes roll back, but most of the time he gets frustrated and starts crying to be rescued.
Our good sleeper is gone. He is no longer sleeping through the night. He is still sleeping in the carseat, but most nights ends up with Mommy on the couch. He is still able to put himself to sleep sometimes though, and every time he does, I am just amazed. Nicholas never did that.
At his 4 month checkup he weighed 13 pounds, 9.9 ounces (50th percentile) and was 25 1/2 inches tall (75th percentile). He got four shots and barely cried. He didn't even fuss when the doctor checked him over.
He is still almost exclusively breastfeeding. We did get the go ahead to start solid food. We plan to start with sweet potatoes this week.
