Alex has grown to 22 1/2 pounds (7th percentile) and 33 inches (50th percentile). He'll be passing up Nick before we know it. He talks all the time now. He will put two words together, but will make you repeat each one before moving on to the next one. His most annoying word now is "what?". He says it when you tell him to stop doing something.
He now knows how to eat with both a fork and a spoon, but is still incredibly messy. It's amazing that any food gets into his mouth at all. He takes his sandwiches (and anything else) apart before eating them. He is also a picky eater and will often skip dinner (or another meal) because he doesn't feel like eating what's been served to him.
Alex still loves to copy and has learned to play quite a few imaginative games, thanks to his brother. The two of them run around the house pretending to be one of the characters from "Bob the Builder." Or they sit and play trains or Little People. He also loves the t.v. and can sit and watch it for hours if given the chance. He likes going to the park and is able to play on anything the big kids can. He can even climb the rope stairs. He has no fear.
