Comments On Old Testament P2 P1

16th Jan 2000 - GenesisC19V18 But Lot answered, "No, please don't make us do that, sir. V19 You have done me a great favour and saved my life. But the hills are too far away; the disaster will overtake me, and I will die before I get there. V20 Do you see that little town? It is near enough. Let me go over there-- you can see it is just a small place--and I will be safe." V21 He answered, "All right, I agree. I won't destroy that town. V22 Hurry! Run! I can't do anything until you get there." Because Lot called it small, the town was named Zoar. V23 The sun was rising when Lot reached Zoar. V24 Suddenly the Lord rained burning sulfur on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah V25 and destroyed them and the whole valley, along with all the people there and everything that grew on the land. V26 But Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. (Number saved are three. Sodomy is hated by God, but right now many men are indulging in it. Even you believers, you allowed them to prosper in the name of human rights, individual rights, democracy. Idiots!)

V27 Early the next morning Abraham hurried to the place where he had stood in the presence of the Lord. V28 He looked down at Sodom and Gomorrah and the whole valley and saw smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a huge furnace. V29 But when God destroyed the cities of the valley where Lot was living, he kept Abraham in mind and allowed Lot to escape to safety. Because Lot was afraid to stay in Zoar, he and his two daughters moved up into the hills and lived in a cave. V31 The older daughter said to her sister, "Our father is getting old, and there are no men in the whole world to marry us so that we can have children. V32 Come on, let's get our father drunk, so that we can sleep with him and have children by him." (This is promoting incest.) V33 That night they gave him wine to drink, and the older daughter had intercourse with him. But he was so drunk that he didn't know it. V34 The next day the older daughter said to her sister, "I slept with him last night; now let's get him drunk again tonight, and you sleep with him. Then each of us will have a child by our father." V35 So that night they got him drunk, and the younger daughter had intercourse with him. Again he was so drunk that he didn't know it. V36 In this way both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their own father. V37 The older daughter had a son, whom she named Moab. He was the ancestor of the present day Moabites. V38 The younger daughter also had a son, whom she named Benammi. He was the ancestor of the present day Ammonites.

GenesisC21V9 One day Ishmael, whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham, was playing with Sarah's son Isaac. V10 Sarah saw them and said to Abraham, "Send this slave girl and her son away. The son of this woman must not get any part of your wealth, which my son Isaac should inherit." V11 This troubled Abraham very much, because Ishmael also was his son. V12 But God said to Abraham, "Don't be worried about the boy and your slave Hagar. Do whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that you will have descendants I have promised. V13 I will also give many children to the son of the slave girl, so that they will become a nation. He too is your son." (This is sheer injustice, by driving a son and a concubine away. Here it shows God's preference on one over the other. Is God's action justified? It is not, that is why the Jews are so few nowadays. The number in Israel at present is less then 10 million. If God was right, Jews will be more than 1 billion in number all over the whole world. What a shame for Abraham to listen to a woman like what Adam listened to Eve.)

18th Jan 2000 - GenesisC21V20 God was with the boy (Ishmael) as he grew up; he lived in the wilderness of Paran and became a skillful hunter. V21 His mother got an Egyptian wife for him. (Later Moses gave written orders for Jews not to marry Egyptians.)

GenesisC21V30 Abraham answered, "Accept these seven lambs. By doing this, you admit that I am the one who dug this well." V31 And so the place was called Beersheba, because it was there that the two of them made a vow. V32 After they had made this agreement at Beersheba, Abimelech and Phicol went back to Philistia. V33 Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and worshiped the Lord, the Everlasting God. (Well represents the Mark and tree the eye-brows.)

GenesisC25V1 Abraham married another woman, whose name was Keturah. V2 She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. V3 Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan, and the descendants of Dedan were the Asshurim, the Letushim, and the Leummim. V4 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were Keturah's descendants. V5 Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac, V6 but while he was still alive, he gave presents to the sons his other wives had borne him. Then he sent these sons to the land of the East, away from his son Isaac. (This shows the favour Abraham had on his son Isaac by Sarah. So the descendants of Abraham were killing one another, Jews against Edom, Ishmaelites etc. So God must be crazy.)

GenesisC25V7-8 Abraham died at the ripe old age of 175. V9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in Machpelah Cave, in the field east of Mamre that had belonged to Ephron son of Zohar the Hitite. (Can Ishmael went to the burial after he was driven out since as a boy?)

GenesisC25V22 She was going to have twins, and before they were born, they struggled against each other in her womb. She said, "Why should something like this happen to me?" So she went to ask the Lord for an answer. (How did she consult God? Can any of you believers answered me?) V23 The Lord said to her, "Two nations are within you; you will give birth to two rival peoples. One will be stronger than the other; the older will serve the younger." (This is prediction of the future, so what is going to happen will happen.)

GenesisC26V34 When Esau was forty years old, he married two Hittite Girls, Judith the daughter of Beeri, and Basemath the daughter of Elon. V35 They made life miserable for Isaac and Rebecca. (Since Abraham wanted Isaac to have an Aramean wife, I see no reason why Isaac did not want his sons to have Aramean wives also?)

GenesisC27V1 Isaac was now old and had became blind. He sent for his older son Esau and said to him, "Son!" "Yes," he answered. V2 Isaac said, "You see that I am old and may die soon. V3 Take your bow and arrows, go out into the country, and kill an animal for me. V4 Cook me some of that tasty food that I like, and bring it to me. After I have eaten it, I will give you my final blessing before I die." V5 While Isaac was talking to Esau, Rebecca was listening. So when Esau went out to hunt, V6 she said to Jacob, "I have just heard your father say to Esau, V7 'Bring me an animal and cook it for me. After I have eaten it, I will give you my blessing in the presence of the Lord before I die." V8 Now son," Rebecca continued, "listen to me and do what I say. V9 Go to the flock and pick out two fat young goats, so that I can cook them and make some of that food your father likes so much. V10 You can take it to him to eat, and he will give you his blessing before he dies."

V11 But Jacob said to his mother, "You know that Esau is a hairy man, but I have smooth skin. V12 Perhaps my father will touch me and find out that I am deceiving him; in this way I will bring a curse on myself instead of a blessing." V13 His mother answered, "Let any curse against you fall on me, my son; just do as I say, and go and get the goats for me." V14 So he went to get them and brought them to her, and she cooked the kind of food that his father liked. V15 Then she took Esau's best clothes, which she kept in the house, and put them on Jacob. V16 She put the skins of the goats on his arms and on the hairy part of his neck. V17 She handed him the tasty food along with the bread she had baked. V18 Then Jacob went to his father and said, "Father!" "Yes," he answered. "Which of my sons are you?"

V19 Jacob answered, "I am your older son Esau; I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of the meat that I have brought you, so that you can give me your blessing." V20 Isaac said, "How did you find it so quickly, son?" Jacob answered, "The Lord your God helped me find it." V21 Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come closer so that I can touch you. Are you really Esau?" V22 Jacob moved close to his father, who felt him and said, "Your voice sounds like Jacob's voice, but your arms feel like Esau's arms." V23 He did not recognize Jacob, because his arms were hairy like Esau's. He was about to give him his blessing, V24 but asked again, "Are you really Esau?" "I am," he answered.

V25 Isaac said, "Bring me some of the meat. After I eat it, I will give you my blessing." Jacob brought it to him, and he also brought him some wine to drink. V26 Then his father said to him, "Come close and kiss me, son." V27 As he came up to kiss him, Isaac smelled his clothes--so he gave him his blessing. He said, "The pleasant smell of my son is like the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed. V28 May God give you dew from heaven and make your fields fertile! May he give you plenty of grain and wine! V29 May nations be your servants, and many people bow down before you. May you rule over all your relatives, and may your mother's descendants bow down before you. May those who curse you be cursed, and may those who bless you be blessed." V30 Isaac finished giving his blessing, and as soon as Jacob left, his brother Esau came in from hunting. V31 He also cooked some tasty food and took it to his father. He said, "Please, father, sit up and eat some of the meat that I have brought you, so that you can give me your blessing."

V32 "Who are you?" Isaac asked. "Your older son Esau," he answered. V33 Isaac began to tremble and shake all over, and he asked, "Who was it, then, who killed an animal and brought it to me? I ate it just before you came. I gave him my final blessing, and so it is his forever." V34 When Esau heard this, he cried out loudly and bitterly and said, "Give me your blessing also, father!" V35 Isaac answered, "Your brother came and deceived me. He has taken away your blessing." V36 Esau said, "This is the second time that he has cheated me. No wonder his name is Jacob. He took my rights as the first-born son, and now he has taken away my blessing. Haven't you saved a blessing for me?" (This shows the Bible is promoting cheating. No wonder the Jews are condemned. However, if you study carefully, the farmers are lucky over the hunters. In the beginning, Abel was killed and God did not punished Cain. Here Jacob cheated. He was a homely type not like Esau who liked to go hunting. Even though the Bible says God liked the smell of the cooked meat, it is the farmers that got the inheritance. This is to tell you killing animals is wrong. Do you understand? (26th Jan 2000) Here you see God spoke to a woman regarding the birth of the twin. From Adam it is usually the man that God spoke to. So the query lies here; is this the purpose of the Bible for me to unravel the mystery.)

26th Jan 2000 - GenesisC30V31 "What shall I pay you?" Laban asked. Jacob answered, "I don't want any wages. I will continue to take care of your flocks if you agree to this suggestion: V32 Let me go through all your flocks today and take every black lamb and every spotted or speckled young goat. That is all the wages I want. V33 In the future you can easily find out if I have been honest. When you come to check up on my wages, if I have any goat that isn't speckled or spotted or any sheep that isn't black, you will know that it has been stolen."

V34 Laban answered, "Agreed. We will do as you suggest." V35 But that day Laban removed the male goats that had stripes or spots and all females that were speckled and spotted or which had white on them; he also removed all the black sheep, V36 and then went away from Jacob with this flock as far as he could travel in three days. Jacob took care of the rest of Laban's flocks. V37 Jacob got green branches of poplar, almond, and plane trees and stripped off some of the bark so that the branches had white stripes on them. V38 He placed these branches in front of the flocks at their drinking troughs. He put them there, because the animals mated when they came to drink. V39 So when the goats bred in front of the branches, they produced young that were streaked, speckled, and spotted.

V40 Jacob kept the sheep separate from the goats and made them face in the direction of the streaked and black animals of Laban's flock. In this way he built up his own flock and kept it apart from Laban's. V41 When the healthy animals were mating, Jacob put the branches in front of them at the drinking troughs, so that they would breed among the branches. V42 But he did not put the branches in front of the weak animals. Soon Laban had all the weak animals, and Jacob all the healthy ones. V43 In this way Jacob became very wealthy. He had many flocks, slaves, camels, and donkeys. (This story shows how Jews are calculative, cunning, and crafty; also to give an eye for an eye.)

GenesisC31V19 Laban had gone to shear his sheep, and during his absence Rachel stole the household gods that belonged to her father. (Here Jacob did not circumcise his sons and slaves; also the wives were praying to household gods as tradition then.)

GenesisC32V22 That same night Jacob got up, took his two wives, his two concubines, and his eleven children, and crossed the Jabbok river. V23 After he had sent them across, he also sent across all that he owned, V24 but he stayed behind alone. Then a man came and wrestled with him until just before daybreak. V25 When the man saw that he was not winning the struggle, he hit Jacob on the hip, and it was thrown out of joint. V26 The man said, "Let me go; daylight is coming." "I won't, unless you bless me," Jacob answered. V27 "What is your name?" the man asked. "Jacob," he answered. V28 The man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have struggled with God and with men, and you have won; so your name will be Israel."

V29 Jacob said, "Now tell me your name." But he answered, "Why do you want to know my name?" Then he blessed Jacob. V30 Jacob said, "I have seen God face-to-face, and I am still alive"; so he named the place Peniel. (Jacob met God at the river Jabbok. The river symbolizes our tears.)

GenesisC35V32 While Jacob was living in that land, Reuben had sexual intercourse with Bilhah, one of his father's concubines; Jacob heard about and was furious. (If Chinese emperor found out about this, the son will be killed, but not the Jews. This shows the moral mentality of Jews as against others. Whether the west adopted this mentality, you have to judge by yourself.)

GenesisC37V18 They saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted against him and decided to kill him. V19 They said to one another, "Here comes that dreamer. V20 Come on now, let's kill him and throw his body into one of the dry wells. We can say that a wild animal killed him. Then we will see what becomes of his dreams." V21 Reuben heard them and tried to save Joseph, "Let's not kill him," he said. V22 "Just throw him into this well in the wilderness, but don't hurt him." (This shows how cruel Jews can be even to own brothers.)

GenesisC38V15 When Judah saw her, he thought that she was a prostitute, because she had her face covered. V16 He went over to her at the side of the road and said, "All right, how much do you charge?" She said, "What will you give me?" V17 He answered, "I will send you a young goat from my flock." She said, "All right, if you will give me something to keep as a pledge until you send the goat." V18 "What shall I give you a a pledge?" he asked. She answered, "Your seal with its cord and the walking stick you are carrying." He gave them to her. Then they had intercourse, and she became pregnant. (Prostitution is an old trade and cannot be despised unless you are smart to come out with a solution to solve it. The ancestor of Jesus did it, or else there is no King David or Jesus.)

5th Feb 2000 - Judah's second son did not want to father a child for his elder brother who died. This shows the wrong upbringing in the Jewish people. The moral culture as shown in the Old Testament is very degrading. If the West follows these examples in the scripture, they will decline like the Jews, to be condemned by God. I give incidents after the above verses. Jacob blessed the second son of Joseph instead of the first born, even though he knew about it. This is against the Jewish tradition regarding first born.

The number of Jews staying in Egypt at the beginning was about 70 people. But, by the time of Moses the number has swelled to about 600,550 men who were 20 years old and above not including children and women. The ancestor line of Moses and Aaron was Amram, Kohath then Levi, then Jacob, Isaac, Abraham etc. Levi to Moses was only 4 generations, so the number taken at the census near Mount Sinai is very misleading. From 70 to certain numbers then came to 603,550 males 20 years old and above. If the women and children were to be included, the number can come up to 1,500,000 people. Use you brain whether the Jews can produce such great number in 5 generations. And how were they spread out in Egypt in such great number? Many died after they crossed the Red Sea.

Mount Sinai was holy as described in the scripture. You go there and see whether it is still holy? The mention of Mount Sinai is to symbolize it as the nose. We look to the nose tip like we look up the Mount Sinai. Here the Jews rebelled against Moses by casting a gold bull calf. Can you imagine, from Abraham down to Moses time, none prayed to idols, as what was described in the scripture, see whether the Jews can turn around and rebelled against God, after they had just witnessed the miracles performed by Moses, especially the crossing through the Red Sea? Use your brain to think whether these miracles were true or not?

Moses cast a snake for the Jews to gaze when they were sick. Snake also signifies our nose. By gazing at the nose, you can cure your mind. The mention of quails and manna is out of the ordinary. This is only legend. It can be true or false. Any way the manna in the jar at the Holies of the holy signify our mouth and teeth. Aaron's rod that sprouted signifies our nose. Do you know the length between our two eyes does not increase from baby up to adulthood? The mount only increases. For a baby it can be flat, especially Chinese, but becomes higher when the child grows.

At Mount Sinai, the Laws were formulated. Many of the laws were very harsh. This shows the stubbornness of the Jews. Upright people do not need laws to regulate them. Laws are for criminals and wrong doers. You should know one of the law is to forbid foreign marriage, but since Abraham down to Moses time the Jews had married the Egyptians, Canaanites and other local people. Is this new law telling the Jews they are only the children of God? They must be stupid! The slaves of Abraham were circumcised together with him and Ishmael, so the slaves were Jews regardless of their origin, whether they were Egyptians, Canaanites, or Mesopotamians etc. Hagar (Judah took her for a prostitute) was a local girl, but she is the ancestor of King David and Jesus. Also Ruth a Moabite girl who married Boaz. You Jews must be crazy if you still think you are the only children of God. All human beings are the sons (spirit has no gender) of God.

6th Feb 2000 - After Moses was appointed by God to lead the Jews, when he was leaving for Egypt, God wanted to kill him, but was saved by his wife doing the circumcision on him and his children. Do you think the wife, a Midianite, was so smart to perform such an act, when Moses once the prince of Egypt, educated and wise, can be so stupid not to know about it, the circumcision? Any logic here regarding this incident? Why God wanted to kill him? A test?

At Mount Sinai, the Tent for worship was build. In the Holiest of the holy, the Covenant Box with the two tablets inside was partitioned by a curtain. The Covenant Box had a lid with two creatures, one at each end of the lid facing each other. These two creatures represent out eye-brows, the two tablets, our eyes. The curtain means the obstruction to know the real meaning of the Box for the Jews.

Together in the Holy place of the Tent, were the lamp stand, table for incense burning and offerings, the Aaron's rod, jar of manna etc.

At Mount Sinai, God did not appear as human being, but as a dazzling fire with a cloud over it. This means another phase of human development. The Tent is to signify our face but the Jews were unable to comprehend it, thereby Jesus had to come to accommodate a change in worship. (When Jesus cried out to God at his last breath on the cross, the curtain at the Covenant Box was cut into two, to signify the un-holiness of the Temple, which was later destroyed by the Romans.)

The way the Jews had to slaughter the animals and birds to pray to God, in modern term it can be said to be cultist. Those who indulge in certain black magic and Satan worship, use animals blood for worship. This un-necessary killing of lives made the Jews to be violence and as a result many punishment from God. The number of Jews at Mount Sinai and at the time before they cross the Jordan river into Canaan were about the same.

The number 40 has a meaning, but I am not quite sure about it. Moses spent 40 days and nights on the top of Mount Sinai with God, and the Jews had to spend 40 years wondering in the desert before they can enter Canaan. (Jesus spent 40 days in the desert by the temptation of the Devil.) The Chinese word four is a mouth with an eight inside. The eight might be our eye-brows. (Many explanation can only be explained in Chinese.)

The way the Jews spent 40 years in the desert is contradictory. One moment, God promised them; another moment they were punished because of some culprits. There were too many miracles, like when Moses holding the stick up in the air, the Jews will be victorious or else they may suffer defeat.

7th Feb 2000 - Aaron and Moses both died on mountain tops; Moses and Eleazar buried Aaron, but God buried Moses at the valley. Is this possible? Think for yourself. Moses needed a veil to cover his face when he faced the Jews, this could mean his spirituality is very high, so God might have taken him up.

One question I would like to ask is the Jews were not allowed to eat mutton and beef and other meat, so how many goats, cattle, sheep, camels and horses etc they had during the 40 years in the desert? Goat, sheep and cattle were killed daily for offering to God at the altar outside the Tent. So by the end of 40 years, the Jews must be very rich with a large herd of animals.

The crossing of Jordan was a miracle; the wall collapse of Jericho was another. The slaughter of all living beings in Jericho was the wish of God. Later, God allowed some locals to live so as they can test the Jews' loyalty to God. All these were like well planned beforehand. There is nothing great about it. The blood of all the locals killed by the Jews have to be repaid. This is the reason Israel has to suffer for all the killing done. The Temple was later destroyed and Jews were taken as prisoners to Babylonia. This first lesson, the Jews were not aware. So Jesus came down for the second lesson and the change of worship.

There were many stories up to the time of King Saul. I do not want to talk about them. They are about rivalry, disobedience, conquered by the locals etc. Any way there was still an Israel and the Jews. When they demanded for a king, and God reluctantly gave in to them by appointing Saul as king, the story was different. First King Saul, next King David then King Solomon, but by the next king Israel was divided into two parts. And subsequently the decline of the kingdom with the destruction of the temple. If the Jews did not ask for a king, there will still be an Israel then. So kingship is not good. I can only explain this by using Confucianism theology. You can refer to my Comments on Confucianism and other articles in the web.

This is why I advocate a head of state without power, and must be holy and a male. He plays the part of Joshua and other prophets leading the people. In this manner, the country can still exist, even though with some problems, like Thailand.

The morality of Jews can be shown in the story of King David. First one of his son committed rape. He did nothing. His son killed the previous one for revenge. King David did nothing. If this happened in China and else where, they will be killed instantly. This is why the son raped King David's concubines at the roof top for all to see. This is disgraceful. His men committed crimes. Before he died he asked Solomon to finish them off, but his own blood he did nothing. This type of double standard, he was not a worthy king, but the Jews praised him greatly, just because his poems are in the scripture.

Next is Solomon. He was suppose to be wise, but he married 700 princess and 300 concubines. Most of them were locals and his favorite was an Egyptian. A wise man will not behave in this manner. The very most he can have are 3 wives. The Laws forbid Jews to marry foreigner, but he did the opposite. He was lucky, as King David passed him the throne before David died. If he got the crown after David died, the story will be different. The country could split into two as what happened to his son.

The story of kings is not worth talking. They are not great, but the people praise them. The great people are the prophets, but the scripture does not give much details about them. What a disappointment. The great prophets were single men. So they did not influence much over the Jews. They were in stage one in my Confucianism theology. Just like Buddha, he left for cultivating self and his only son was his disciple. No more third generation.

8th Feb 2000 - A scripture is suppose to be a holy book concerning the upright moral quality of human race. The Old Testament is different. It is more like a history book with some vivid details. There is only one sentence that is very important. That is 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength'. The second is the ten commandments.

The lessons to be learned are the decline of Judaism, the first Temple destruction and the second Temple destruction.

In Deuteronomy Chapter 17 verse 18 - When he becomes king, he is to have a copy of the book of God's laws and teachings made from the original copy kept by the levitical priests. V19 He is to keep this book near him and read from it all his life, so that he will learn to honor the Lord and to obey faithfully everything that is commanded in it. V20 This will keep him from thinking that he is better than his fellow Israelites and from disobeying the Lord's commands in any way. Then he will reign for many years, and his descendants will rule Israel for many generations.

These verses above already told us the plan in the future before the Jews asked for a king. This is pre-planned. Or I call it fate. The Laws were written at Mount Sinai by Moses who was directed by God. The other prophets at different time forewarned the Jews about the future punishment, without success. So the Temple was destroyed in 586 B.C.

Gautama Buddha, Lao Tzu and Confucius appeared around 550 B.C. So the decline of Judaism is followed by the popularity of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. For other philosophy, I am not too sure when they started.

The Jews rebuilt the Temple but the country was weak. This shows the Jews were still wicked. Then came John and Jesus. Some believed Jesus but many rejected him. For this God destroyed the Temple again. That was around A.D. 70. Now is A.D. 2000. For 1930 years the Jews were like loose sand. So how can God help them when they rejected the prophets sent to warn them? This is to say the Old Testament can be thrown away. The new testament is to know that God is inside you.

20th Feb 2000 - Important quotations:

Isiah9V6 A child is born to us! A son is given to us! And he will be our ruler. He will be called, "Wonderful Counselor," "Mighty God," "Eternal Father," "Prince of Peace," V7 His royal power will continue to grow; his kingdom will always be at peace. He will rule as King David's successor, basing his power on right and justice, from now until the end of time. (This is about Jesus, but the Jews did not believe him as he was not a king and rule over them. So this can only refer to something else like the Mark on the forehead where it is king.)

IsaiahC65V17 The Lord says, "I am making a new earth and new heavens. (no logic) The events of the past will be completely forgotten. V18 Be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. The new Jerusalem I make (God creates not man-made) will be full of joy, and her people will be happy. V19 I myself will be filled with joy because of Jerusalem and her people. There will be no weeping there, no calling for help. V20 Babies will no longer die in infancy, and all people will live out their life span. Those who live to be a hundred will be considered young. To die before that would be a sign that I had punished them. V21-22 People will build houses and get to live in them--they will not be used by someone else. They will plant vineyards and enjoy the wine--it will not be drunk by others. Like trees, my people will live long lives. they will fully enjoy the things that they have worked for. V23 The work they do will be successful, and their children will not meet with disaster. I will bless them and their descendents for all time to come. V24 Even before they finish praying to me, I will answer their prayers. V25 Wolves and lambs will eat together, lions will eat straw, as cattle do, and snakes will no longer be dangerous. On Zion, my sacred hill, there will be nothing harmful or evil." (Use logic to understand the verses. They are similar to the New Jerusalem in Revelation. This New Jerusalem is God made, coming down from the sky, so why the Jews must make Jerusalem their capital? The Jews are still idiots?)

Isaiah52V13 The Lord says, "My servant will succeed in his task; he will be highly honored. V14 Many people were shocked when they saw him; he was so disfigured that he hardly looked human. V15 But now many nations will marvel at him, and kings will be speechless with amazement. They will see and understand something they had never known." 53V1 The people reply, "Who would have believed what we now report? Who could have seen the Lord's hand in this? V2 It was the will of the Lord that his servant grow like a plant taking root in dry ground. He had no dignity or beauty to make us take notice of him. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him. V3 We despise him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at him--we ignored him as if he were nothing. V4 But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne. All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by god. V5 But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received. V6 All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us going his own way. But the Lord made the punishment fall on him, the punishment all of us deserved. V7 He was treated harshly, but endured it humbly; he never said a word. Like a lamb about to be sheared, he never said a word. V8 He was arrested and sentenced and led off to die, and no one cared about his fate. He was put to death for the sins of our people. V9 He was placed in a grave with evil men, he was buried with the rich, even though he had never committed a crime or ever told a lie." (If the present Jews still do not believe Jesus and hold on to the Old Testament, they are condemned. The lesson to learn is the destruction of the second Temple in A.D. 70. They rejected him so God had to destroy the Temple.)

Jeremiah23V5 The Lord says, "The time is coming when I will choose as king a righteous descendent of David. That king will rule wisely and do what is right and just throughout the land. V6 When he is king, the people of Judah will be safe, and the people of Israel will live in peace. He will be called 'The Lord Our Salvation.' V7 The time is coming when people will no longer swear by me as the living God who brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt. V8 Instead, they will swear by me as the living God who brought the people of Israel out of a northern land and out of all the other countries where I had scattered them. Then they will live in their own land." (This is also about Jesus, now the mark on the forehead and the change of worship.)

Jeremiah30V9 Instead, they will serve me, the Lord their God, and a descendent of David, whom I will enthrone as king. (This is about Jesus, now I call the Mark on the forehead.)

Jeremiah31V31 The Lord says, "The time is coming when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. V32 It will not be like the old covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. Although I was like a husband to them, they did not keep that covenant. V33 The new covenant that I will make with the people of Israel will be this: I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. V34 None of them will have to teach his fellow countryman to know the Lord, because all will know me, from the least to the greatest. I will forgive their sins and I will no longer remember their wrongs. I, the Lord, have spoken." (This is the new testament, to know the God is inside you at the Mark on the forehead. Paul wrote the same in Hebrews in the New Testament.)

Jeremiah33V15 At that time I will choose as king a righteous descendant of David. That king will do what is right and just throughout the land. V16 The people of Judah and of Jerusalem will be rescued and will live in safety. The city will be called 'The Lord Our Salvation.' (This refers to Jesus, now the Mark on our forehead.)

Ezekiel34V23 I will give them a king like my servant David to be their one shepherd, and he will take care of them. V24 I, the Lord, will be their God, and a king like my servant David will be their ruler. (refers to Jesus, now the Mark on the forehead)

Ezekiel37V24 A king like my servant David will be their king. (refers to Jesus, now the Mark on the forehead)

Ezekiel37V25 A king like my servant David will rule them forever. (refers to Jesus, now the Mark on the forehead)

Daniel1V12 "Test us for ten days," he said, "Give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. (mention of vegetarian)

Daniel9V24 "Seven times seventy years (490) is the length of time God has set for freeing your people and your holy city from sin and evil. Sin will be forgiven and eternal justice established, so that the vision and the prophecy will come true, and the holy Temple will be rededicated. V25 Note this and understand it; From the time the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem until God's chosen leader comes, seven times seven years (49) will pass. Jerusalem will be rebuild with streets and strong defenses, and will stand for seven times sixty-two (434) years, but this will be a time of troubles. V26 And at the end of that time God's chosen leader will be killed unjustly. The city and the Temple will be destroyed by the invading army of a powerful ruler. The end will come like a flood, bringing the war and destruction which God has prepared. V27 That ruler will have a firm agreement with many people for seven years, and when half this time is past, he will put an end to sacrifices and offerings. The Awful Horror will be placed on the highest point of the Temple and will remain there until the one who put it there meets the end which God has prepared for him." [Refer to rebuilding Temple, Jesus, the second destruction of the Temple and the Awful Horror. The Awful Horror is mentioned in Maccabees (see below) and Jesus spoke of it in Matthew. What Jesus spoke has different meaning because the Temple is no more. 5th July 2001 - half of 7 years is about 1335 days. See 2nd paragraph below.]

Daniel11V30 The Romans will come in ships and oppose him, and he will be frightened. Then he will turn back in a rage and try to destroy the religion of God's people. He will follow the advice of those who have abandoned that religion. V31 Some of his soldiers will make the Temple ritually unclean. They will stop the daily sacrifices and set up The Awful Horror. V32 By deceit the king will win the support of those who have already abandoned their religion, but those who followed God will fight back. (different from Maccabees)

Daniel12V11 "From the time the daily sacrifices are stopped, that is, from the time of The Awful Horror, 1290 days will pass. V12 Happy are those who remain faithful until 1335 days are over! (as in the revelation 1260 days, I haven't figure out the numbers yet. 5th July 2001 - I started doing nothing since 1st Feb 2000. For the period of 1335 days to complete, it will be around July/August 2003. Whether this period is the time for punishment before the world acknowledges me as the Savior, you have to see for yourself.)

Hosea3V5 But the time will come when the people of Israel will once again turn to the Lord their God and to a descendant of David their king.

Joel2V30 "I will give warnings of that day in the sky and on the earth; there will be bloodshed fire, and clouds of smoke. V31 The sun will be darkened, and the moon will turn red as blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. (also mentioned by Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke etc)

Micah4V1 In days to come the mountain where the Temple stands will be the highest one of all, towering above all the hills. Many nations will come streaming to it, V2 and their people will say, "Let us go up the hill of the Lord, to the Temple of Israel's God. For he will teach us what he wants us to do; we will walk in the paths he has chosen. For the Lord's teaching comes from Jerusalem, from Zion he speaks to his people." V3 He will settle disputes among the nations, among the great powers near and far. They will hammer their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nations will never again go to war, never prepare for battle again. V4 Everyone will live in peace among his own vineyards and fig trees, and no one will make him afraid. The Lord Almighty has promised this. (world peace, great harmony. The Temple is the Mark on the forehead. Everyone young or old will know this. There is nothing to preach.)

Micah5V2 The Lords says, "Bethlehem Ephrathath, you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient times." (refer Jesus)

Zechariah4V2 "What do you see? he asked. "A lamp-stand made of gold," I answered. "At the top is a bowl for the oil. On the lamp-stand are seven lamps, each one with places for seven wicks. V3 There are two olive trees beside the lamp-stand, one on each side of it." V4 Then I asked the angel, "What do these things stand for, sir?" V5 "Don't you know?" he asked me. "No, I don't, sir," I replied. (missing verses here 6 to 10a) V10b The angel said to me, "The seven lamps are the seven eyes of the Lord, which see all over the earth." V11 Then I asked him, "What do the two olive trees on either side of the lamp-stand means? V12 And what is the meaning of the two olive branches beside the two gold pipes from which the olive oil pours?" V14 Then he said, "These are the two men whom God has chosen and anointed to serve him, the Lord of the whole earth." (seven, the seven holes on our head, two olive trees represent eye-brows. Two men are our eyes. What happened to the missing verses? If someone can extract out the verses, that means the Bible is not totally true.)

Zechariah9V9 Rejoice, rejoice, people of Zion! Shout for joy, you people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you! He comes triumphant and victorious, but humble and riding on a donkey. V10 The Lord says, "I will remove the war chariots from Israel and take the horses from Jerusalem; the bows used in battle will be destroyed. Your king will make peace among the nations; he will rule from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth." (see the different in words compared to New Testament when Jesus rode on a donkey. Jesus did not make peace among the nations.)

Zechariah12V10 "I will fill the descendants of David and the other people of Jerusalem with the spirit of mercy and the spirit of prayer. They will look at the one whom they stabbed to death, and they will mourn for him like those who mourn for an only child. (refer to Jesus)

Zechariah14V2 The Lord will bring all the nations together to make war on Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half of the people will go into exile, but the rest of them will not be taken away from the city. V3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he has fought in time past. V4 At that time he will stand on the Mount of Olives, to the east of Jerusalem. Then the Mount of Olives will be split in two from the east to west by a large valley. Half of the mountain will move northward, and half of it southward. V5 You will escape through this valley that divides the mountain in two. You will flee as your ancestors did when the earthquake struck in the time of King Uzziah of Judah. The Lord my God will come, bringing all the angels with him. V6 When that time comes, there will no longer be cold or frost, V7 nor any darkness. There will always be daylight, even at nighttime. When this will happen is known only to the Lord. V8 When that day comes, fresh water will flow from Jerusalem, half of it to the Dead Sea and the other half to the Mediterranean. It will flow all year long, in the dry season as well as the wet. V9 Then the Lord will be king over all the earth, everyone will worship him as God and know him by the same name. (same as in New Testament on the day the Lord comes, spoken by Jesus, but different in words. Fresh water is our tears, Jerusalem the Mark. I am afraid earth quake will strike on that day and level Jerusalem because the Jews are still holding to it as holy. The new Jerusalem is the Mark on our forehead.)

Malachi4V5 "But before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes, I will send you the prophet Elijah. V6 He will bring fathers and children together again; otherwise I would have to come and destroy your country." (Jesus can not be Elijah, as the world is still divided. I don't know whether it is referring to me, because I advocate the cultivation of family as per Confucianism.)

1Maccabees1V54 On the fifteenth day of the month of Kislev in the year 145 B.C., King Antiochus set up "The Awful Horror" on the altar of the Temple, and pagan altars were built in the towns throughout Judea. (This is to answer Daniel prophecy, so what did Jesus said about the Awful Horror refers to?)

1Maccabees6V7 The Jews had pulled down the thing they called "The Awful Horror" that Antiochus had built on the altar in Jerusalem.

2Maccabees2V4 "These same records also tell us that Jeremiah, acting under divine guidance, commanded the Tent of the Lord's Presence and the Covenant Box to follow him to the mountain where Moses had looked down on the land which God had promised our people. V5 When Jeremiah got to the mountain, he found a huge cave and there he hid the Tent of the Lord's Presence, the Covenant Box, and the altar of incense. Then he sealed up the entrance. V6 Some of Jeremiah's friend tried to follow him and mark the way, but they could not find the cave. V7 When Jeremiah learned what they had done, he reprimanded them, saying, 'No one must know about this place until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy. V8 At that time he will reveal where these things are hidden, and the dazzling light of his presence will be seen in the cloud, as it was in the time of Moses and on the occasion when Solomon prayed that the Temple might be dedicated in holy splendor.' (The earlier part of Old Testament does not mention this, so there are many missing stories not mentioned in the Bible.)

Psalms2V6 "On Zion, my sacred hill," he says, "I have installed my king." V7 "I will announce," says the king, "what the Lord has declared. He said to me: "You are my son; today I have become your father. V8 Ask, and I will give you all the nations; the whole earth will be yours. V9 You will break them with an iron rod; you will shatter them in pieces like a clay pot.'" (Paul mentioned these in Hebrews in New Testament.)

Psalms40V6 You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you do not ask for animals burned whole on the altar or for sacrifices to take away sins. Instead you have given me ears to hear you, V7 and so I answered, "Here I am; your instructions for me are in the book of the law." (Jesus mentioned it in the New Testament.)

Psalms110V1 The Lord said to my lord, the king, "Sit here at my right side until I put your enemies under your feet." V2 From Zion the Lord will extend your royal power. "Rule over your enemies," he says. V3 On the day you fight your enemies, your people will volunteer. Like the dew of early morning your young men will come to you on the sacred hills. V4 The Lord made a solemn promise and will not take it back: "You will be a priest forever in the priestly order of Melchizedek." (Paul mentioned it in Hebrews in the New Testament. He talked much about this.)

Proverbs27V19 It is your own face that you see reflected in the water and it is your own self that you see in your heart. (This is the only verse I find most favorable in the Old Testament.)

11th Nov 2000 - Wisdom of Solomon2V23 When God created us, he did not intend for us to die; he made us like himself.

Wisdom of Solomon12 V1 Your immortal spirit is in every one of them, V2 and so you gently correct those who sin against you. (God or immortal spirit is inside us.)

Wisdom of Solomon15V8 He is a human being who was himself formed from earth only a short while earlier, and after a little while, when he must return the soul that was lent to him, he will go back to the same earth. (or spirit, which Christians and believers of Jesus Christ do not belief. Our soul or spirit is immortal like God, Jesus Christ.)

Wisdom of Solomom15V11 because he never came to know the God who shaped him, who breathed into him an active soul and a living spirit. (soul and spirit are one and the same)

Wisdom of Solomon15V16 Some man whose spirit is only borrowed made them. No one can ever make a god that is equal to a human being. V17 Every person will sooner or later die, but anything he makes with his wicked hands is dead from the start. He himself is better than what he worships. He at least is alive, but what he worships is not, and never has been. (So by praying to your own self, by gazing at the nose tip, is best.)

All the verses are quoted from Good New Bible. King James version has different words and is more close to the original text except certain words missing or changed in meaning. Chinese Bible is better as it puts in brackets the original text from the one used in the Bible.
