920 WPDE847 Detroit Metro Airport Info
Their 1994 test broadcast message read: "You're listening to a test
broadcast operating on 920 kilokertz AM from the Detroit Metropolitan
Airport. This is a test broadcast. WPDE847."
This station is now blocked by IBOC and probably illegal power from Radio
Disney on 910, even at the airport. It was never heard well at night even
close to the airport.
1030 WUFL Sterling Hts, MI 2007
Was WDRQ in 1988 for just a few months in 1988 with kiddie format in the
days before Radio Disney. WDRQ was a popular disco station in the 1970s on
93.1. It is now on air again with the same calls and freq, playing a bit
of everything. In the 80s 93.1 was WLTI and played lite rock.
