Russian Olympic team announced.

Russia's national gymnastics leader Leonid Arkayev announced today that the main places in his Olympic teams where already decided before the Russian Cup has even begon. Arkayev said that Russian gymnastics have always set the trend in gymnastics and that they shouldn't give that up by making mistakes in the selection.

The main competitiors are as following:

• Aleksei Nemov

• Aleksei Bondarenko

• Nikolai Kryukov

• Svetlana Khorkina
• Yelena Produnova
• Yelena Zamolodchikova
• Yekaterina Lobaznyuk

Arkayev did mentioned that Nikolai Kryukov had some trouble with injuries but he would be fit for the Olympic Games.
