SYP.com Down for a week?

Alec's official site www.suyoupeng.com has been down for nearly a week now. Many people are wanting to know what is wrong and I have email the webmasters but they haven't replied. I think that they are busy fixing the site as just before they closed the site last week. Many fans had a few things asking the web.ms to change and hopefully it will be back up and running better then ever again this week. Alec is at the moment half way through filming Yi Tian Tu Long Ji in Beijing.
Just a club notice that at the moment there is a trade going on with the club and a member of IFC. If it is carried out 100% then until 3 months time there won't be any Alec/Vicki modern photos on sale in IFC. There are still QSSYMM and other photos and stickers ect but NO MORE modern Photos. You can order your photos so I know how many more to buy this year in Hong Kong.

Also on the 25th May 2002 which was the Saturday which had just passed there was a function with green tea but without Alec going in GuangDong, Beijing Road in China. Although Alec didn't go many of his fans went just to have a look. Alec's new green tea advertising song <<Going out for a walk>> was constantly on the play there and there was many little poters with green tea's logo there and around the grounds. Also there was a massive Alec poster board which could be seen from far away very clearly. Of course there was fre gifts and things to be swapped with each token given with each green tea bottle. To swap for a Tshirt you needed to have brought 15 or more green teas.

Not only the character of Xiao Yan Zi, spectators also like listening to the
three main soundtracks from the serie HZGG that Vicki performed, which are:
"There is a girl", 'Can not leave you' and 'Since I have you'. At first
Vicki only thought that she would join in the music circle, but didn't
decide to do that, until Alec Su You Peng found out about that, and he
supported her warmly. That's when the HZGG crew team came to Taiwan to
promote their serie, Alec had several times invited Vicki and Ruby and
others go for karaoke, and he discovered that Vicki has such a great voice,
as well as those singers from Taiwan or Hongkong. Since then, Alec became
Vicki's teacher in basic singing, she was taught how to drew her breath, how
to maintain her voice, and what's the difference from singing live in stage
and singing in the audio room...And together with the release of HZGG Part
2, 'Swallow' appeared as to draw attention of TV spectators to the role of
Xiao Yan Zi, and also as for Vicki furfiled her wish in singing.

Su Youpeng makes MTV in a rundown work shed

Ever since “Little tigers”, Su Youpeng has been a popular personality. However, after the group dispatched he was no longer just a singer, he became an all round entertainer. Especially since the release of HZGG, Su Youpeng has made his mark in Taiwan, HK and Mainland China. Despite it being over 10 years since his singing debut, Youpeng still has not given up on music and his music is still loved by fans everywhere.

At the moment, Youpeng is busy filming <Yi Tian Tu Long Ji> but has taken time out to film a MTV for his latest album. The director for this clip is Mr Lin and is set in a rundown work shed. Being a workaholic, Youpeng still has not had a chance to meet his much loved fans in Beijing. This is what he had to say about his fans in Taiwan, HK and Mainland, “I guess it’s because I always catch up with the Taiwan fans, we are more like friends. While the fans in HK are more of the “auntie fans”, especially since HZGG, they all think Wu Ar Ge is a nice character. As for the Beijing fans, because I hardly meet them, they always seem really welcoming…”

Even though, Youpeng was dubbed the nickname “Guai Guai Hu”, which has accompanied him all this time, he doesn’t like to be called “Xiao Guai” anymore. As according to Youpeng, “Being almost 30, it feels quite awkward being called such a name.” That’s why he has used his albums and the latest concert to brush upon on his image and hopefully erase that linger shadow of “Xiao Guai” from people’s minds. The new album should soon be released and the concerts made its start in Shanghai, as for the next destination, Youpeng doesn’t know. His real aim for the concert is to allow people to see and experience the new Su Youpeng.

When talking about his album Youpeng commented, “Throughout my singing career, I never set myself to any particular style, varying it here to there with all different types of style, people never understood what I was really about. This time, I have set a mark so people will know who I really am. My favourite style would definitely be rock and roll music to a moderate degree and I have refurbished some classic songs in this upcoming album.” One of them is <<Tong Zuo the Ni>> but don’t think it’s the same school anthem because it has that tinge of light rock and roll groove to it. In actual fact, fans have already had taste of Youpeng refurbishing classic songs, and they have been quite successful in many charts around the countries…so don’t expect this time to be any different.

Reporters asked, “Do you think your popularity has dropped a tad since HZGG and QSSYMM?” Youpeng’s reply was, “Everyone has their time at the top, if you don’t produce anything spectacular for a while, then of course, people will begin to forget you.” But apparently, Youpeng said that in real life, he likes to be carefree and keep everything to ‘low’ and of course he would prefer himself to be a bit cuter! (But he’s gorgeous in our eyes!!)

Youpeng also talked a bit about his latest TV series. He was very honoured to be the leading man in Jin Yong’s work. As for looks and charisma preparation for his character, not much work is required…as long as he can handle the inner demand. Only when he was trying on his costumes did Youpeng find out he would be playing both the father and the son in this series…indeed it will be challenge as it is the first time he has to play two generations (OHHJ not included as he said that it wasn’t a serious show anyway). But he hopes that fans won’t be cursing him if he doesn’t do a good job and meet the expectations. But hopes that fans online will be supportive! (of course we will!)
