Between singing and acting, which is your most loved?     Singing. Firstly, it is related to the workin conditions, because singing is not so toilsome. Acting has no day or night. Moreover, you would be locked in a place for probably 4 - 5 months and be alienated from the outside world. Of course, where work is concerned, you would concentrate fully in the acting for perfect performance , but in real life, you real life, you feel that you had been locked from the outside world.  This, on a serious note, could be dued to man trying to be outstanding!     Secondly, singing is more at ease and natural - flows with what I want to express and to do. Moreover, singing enables direct and close rapport with the audience. Which type of work gives you the most fulfillment?     Singing! I am fond and irresistible to singing. You ask them, (People working at his record company), I am singing day in and day out. i can sing and dance wherever I am. When I first came into the entertainment circle, I detested the mention of 'idols' as it seemes to represent that they have no substance. From before till now, I had fallen to the pits before and now have to start from scratch again, I feel that to be admired by others and to be an idol, in actual fact, is an honour. Everyone need not to be trigger happy to discard and be rid of this packaging, but it does not represent that I no longer need to improve myself in my work. This is absolutely not the case! Alec, Do you mind how others view Su You Peng?     I don't mind how people view me la! My singing has a bit of improvement? And better than before  Haha...! Then, what was your mind actually thinking when you accepted to act in TV serials?     To try new experiences, to find new avenues. Before, there was a period of time that I didn't sing. During that time, I really felt a great sense of loss. However, some things can't be rushed. I felt that at that time, the singing aspect of it had begun to reach a bottleneck. After all, the me during that time had already sung for about 6 or 7 years. Moreover, when I first debuted, it has more of idol glory.     During that time, must have had a 'student' image! However, small friends would grow up. When your age is growing by the days, the sparkle would be lost with it and so I then attempted to change my image and to develop by turning towards acting hoping to have to have new breakthroughs.     To an artiste who started out started out early, you need to bring out your other talents to depict your other proficiencies. This is the only way to survive and withstand in showbiz. I feel that any artiste like myself who had started off for over 10 years and is still able to be in this position, deserved to be repected!     How would you describe yourself? Please allow me to describe myself as such because one needs to go through the ups and downs during the process, a lot of hard work put in in order to be able to achieve such results. Like boss, Andy Lau, I too respect him greatly. Why did you choose to act instead? We heard you got a chance to do something else.     Yes, Before I had a chance of show hosting. Why didn't I accept it ah? Haha..em...forgot why le:-P! At that time, because Qiong Yao's shows are reowned and had essence and they asked me to act in <<HZGG>>. I chose and accepted it as my start point. At the script was good! From the beginning, nobody had ever imagined <<HZGG>> would attract such results. I too, am very surprised by it. Is Auntie your benefactor in your acting career?     Yes. I think without <<HZGG>> there won't be the Alec Su today! Why did they choose someone like you who had no acting experience?     Probably they think my looks are opposite to act as 'wu ar ge'! The 'Wu ar ge' in <<HZGG>> is not so matured in the acting but through the screen, portrayed the seriousness, sincerity and pureness. The disposition was also realistic and has the aristocrat demeanor. How did you handle all the rumours of your conflict between Auntie?     I was very anxious because as I had never encountered such an issue before ever since I stepped into the entertainment business. Moreoever, I had great respect for her. I was very unhappy that someone had put a gap between us. She is temperamental. When she has her mood swings, she would speak her mind on the spur of the moment. I was saddened by her words to the media. Everything is all right now. She is one who let the past be a past and afterall it was a misunderstanding.                                                                                                   Page 2
