The whole process was really dramatic and so I called it exorcism!!! Knew a long time ago that my computer got viruses. It crashed many times for no reasons when I turned it on, or crashed when nobody was touching it…. also sent out emails with viruses, plus the computer speed is far too low….. so I bought an anti-virus program and start my war (against the viruses)…. Never expect this…. (My computer) functioned (barely) when I didn’t touch it (didn’t do anything), but when I really did something (try to clean it up), it crashed half way through the scanning process, or didn’t even let the scanning start at all. Finally, by around yesterday midnight, the scan went through once, but the result was……. No virus found!!! Holy, I know I should get onto the internet and download the new virus codes…… but more to come…… Before the scan, I could still get onto the internet, but now, cough cough cough, it destroyed my dial-up function, therefore, it crashed once it’s on the net or it couldn’t find any URLs……. The viruses were smart but I was smarter. I was so mad at the time and so I put on my magic gown, and decided declare war on them!!! Fortunately, my brother is an exorcist expert, ha ha ho hee, dare to destroyed my dial-up function? Fine. So I reloadddd…… Eventually, I got onto the internet successfully this afternoon. Had Finished downloading the new virus codes and started the scanning again. I was extremely exhausted by then. One worm, two worms…..more and more worms got scanned out, after almost an hour, guest what’s the total number of viruses…… More than 150…. So, it figures!!! Now my computer speed recovered to normal standard. My war against the viruses also came to an end!!! What’s left are some quarantined software that I no longer have access to. e.g. my kkman is gone….. Science is a true miracle, but to us general public, it’s very exhaustive……. YouPeng |
