This club was opened for the sake of Alec fans all over the world and to help non-chinese reading fans to get the quickest news about their idol Alec.
At first this club was only a small site about Alec Su You Peng in homestead.com but in the end it got bigger and bigger and Jing Yi the 13 year-old girl at that time had many people coming into the site and so it became a Fans Club after a few requests from some fans.
Homestead then asked for the club to pay for the site and as the club wasn't as big as it is now and didn't have as many members and so they couldn't afford to lose members by needing them to pay and it would be a lot of work. So Jing Yi moved everything slowly, but as quick as she could without any helpers at the time to geocities where it is now. Until near the end of 2001 geocities' site had lots more people coming and geocities had to shut the site down sometimes as the files where being looked at by members too often and was getting over the qouta and so Jing Yi then had to move some of the bigger files to a new site linked with the old site which is now at www.geocities.com/vickiinterfans .
At the first major activty which went very well and was a present collecting activty for Alec at Christmas and we successfully sent all the presents to her before christmas. This is the second activty of the club but the first big one as the first activity was a 'get together' or known as 'fans meeting' this didn't go too well as everyone came at different times. Some of you who know Jing Yi well you may know she is a bit like Auntie (QY) and can get quiet emotional very quickly. That was the activty which she spent a lot of time sorting out and it was very sad to her when it turned out tottaly wrong and noe one turned up at the right time.
But the fan club has recieved many nice emails from you all and we would like to thanks you all for all your support to the club especially to all those who has raised money for the club.
At the really end of 2001 a assistant manager was found for AIFC (Tricia Wong) to hopefully help out with the thinking and problems that sometimes come up with things like the uniform and activties. In meeting activities the assistant manager can also take the place of Jing Yi if she can't make it for any reason. As some of you know in monst summers Jing Yi sometimes goes to Hong Kong and can't get onto the internet and so all the emails and things on the net needs someone who can sort it out for her then. This summer as you all know there is a activty where we may be able to all go to Hk and meet Vicki and support her. We may have to find a second assistant manager for the time being whilst the manager and assistant are away on functions ect. But we are not sure when it is or if it will work out yet.  We are looking for a new assistant manager as Tricia has been too busy and hasn't had time to deal with the clubs problems and fans questions. This was then decided by herself and Jing Yi that the post would be given to someone else. We are still looking for the right someone.
A club t-shirt can be brought by all fans from the main club and the price will be put on the site very soon. You have to buy your own t-shirt which has to be PLAIN white with nothing on at all. Not even a line and then send it to us. If you want to add a photo of Alec onto the your t-shirt we can also do that for you but it will cost about 1 pounds (enlgish money) more then usual to print it. But you can choose the picture yourself. If the picture is really small then maybe the price can be put down but you'll have to email Jing Yi.
All club members are advised to get msn as Jing Yi and her assistants use that frequently when they are on line for any problems or questions. Jing Yi goes onto msn when she is free and talks to fans and members there. We sometimes hold little 'meetings' there without notice when there are a lot of us on we get together in one msn and talk together and really feel like a Big family.
