One
Hi! This is my son, Roy, and me. He just turned 1yr old January 3. As you can imagine, it is quite an experience raising an energetic toddler and going to school full-time. Luckily I'm doing what I love. I'm attending UNCP and pursuing my degree in English Education. I love learning more about teaching and teaching techniques and one of my passions is reading. In my courses this year I get to do both. I have been to several universities over the last couple of years (Western Carolina University, UNC Wilmington and now UNCP) and have had the opportunity to work in many education and english programs with a variety of professors and students. Each program has its good qualities and its short comings. These experiences have given me a rich background and good foundation for my future in education. UNCP has added its own benefits and I'm looking forward to graduating with my teaching certificate in Spring 2002.
