So what's this page all about then?
This page started many years ago as part of my MAIN PAGE. It was a page where I could keep a list of the links to places where I bought videos online and also as a place where I could keep a list of my videos for TRADING. Since then it has grown to include reviews and more links and other features, and now, is a resource for the obscure video lover to discover videos, and find places to get them.
What's this about video trading?
Try going to your local video store and buying or renting Cannibal Holocaust. Not only will you not find it on the shelf, when you ask about it, the clerk will look at you puzzled. He might try typing it into his computer or asking his manager. But in the end you'll not get it and the clerk will suggest you get one of the 100 copies of Jeepers Creepers they have.
For this reason, Online Video trading has developed. Rare Videos that you have are copied and traded for copies of rare videos that other people have...
Wait a second?!?! Is this legal???
As far as the legalities of tape trading go, if it is in the public domain in your country, which many of my vidoes are cause I get them from places like:

Here in Canada we are blessed with this little bit of FAIR DEALING legislation that covers most Canadian Tape Traders asses:

But CHIM, I'm new to obscure cult horror videos. I have nothing to trade, or else everything I have, everybody else has all ready. And I just GOTTA have that video!!! What can I do???
Well if you have a DVD player, I suggest you look for it on DVD first. You'd be surprised what is being re-released on DVD. Check AMAZON.COM!
If you still need to trade ask the trader if he accepts anything else for trade. Chim accepts just about anything (except cash!!!). He'll take blank tapes, as a lot of traders do (usually 3 for 1). Also a lot of traders will take postage stamps, so you could offer that...
So what kind of movies are we talking about here? Like porn???
We are talking about any movie that is not mainstream. Movies that are obscure, forgotten from yesteryear, or cult favourites. We are talking about B-movies, drive-in trash, Euro-trash horror, Asian Cinema, Gore pics, Indie flicks, exploitation, rare videos or just about anything that is not the banal formulaic eye-candy they call movies in hollywood...
I don't list PORN here, although some movies may have elements of porn or XXX scenes. They are listed here for other reasons. For this reason I do not Trade with anyone under the age of 18.
Where can I find these VIDEO TRADERs and where else can I get these movies besides TRADING???

I have two main review features, THE MOVIE OF THE WEEK and THE WORST OF THE WORST.
TMotW is any movie I chose to do a review on. It could be good or bad. Usually I try to pick the more popular videos, but sometimes I watch a flick and just get the urge to write about it and sometimes I actually do get around to it and this is where I do it.
I really love really bad movies. This is what the TWotW is all about. I review Trashy movies here...not necessarily movies I don't like, but rather movies most other people wouldn't like (me I usually love 'em)...
