PERSONALITY
Evandar Graham is prone to acting the old man among the Ops crew. Perhaps this the direct result of his days spent serving aboard the USS Rooster with two reckless, naïve young officers as his constant companions. Although he is close friends with both ensigns, Redding and Dunmore, he still takes great pleasure in his ability to torment them with barbed comments, sarcasm and superior rank on a daily basis.
STARFLEET RECORD
Graham enrolled into the Academy straight out of school, fulfilling a lifelong dream and his personal sense of achievement. The first person in his family to join the service since the days of Kirk, he was neither supported nor hindered by his parents, both of whom were normal, everyday workers on Luna.
Graham finished third in his class and
was immediately assigned to the Peltor Colony near Klingon space. Working as a
simple operations officer, Graham distinguished himself during the troubles
between the Federation and the Klingon Empire and later in action against
raiders. During a prolonged blockade of the planet he acted as the chief
operations officer in place of his superior officer, then trapped on the wrong
side of the blockade.
Once hostilities with the Klingons ceased
Starfleet pulled out of the Peltor Colony. Newly promoted to lieutenant junior
grade, Graham was assigned to the USS Rooster, where he quickly became fast
friends with Redding and Dunmore, both fresh out of the Academy. His informal
position as the trio’s head was furthered by his promotion to Assistant Chief
of Operations. In late 2375 Graham applied for and was
granted the position of Assistant Chief of Operations aboard Starbase 565.
Redding and Dunmore chose to accompany him.
