I Don't Wanna Fight

Man - Sorry ... Did I wake you?

Jillian - Its after 3 ... Shane, what are you doing up?

Shane - I can't sleep ... How can I sleep, when everything I ever knew is a lie without you.

Jillian - What are you talking about?

Shane steps away from the window and begins to walk across the living room towards Jillian.

Shane - You've really done a number on me ... I can't breathe, when my heart is broke in two.

Shane stops walking and stands right in front of Jillian.

Shane - Feel ...

Then Shane reaches out, grabs Jillian's hand and presses it against his chest.

Shane - There's no beat ... without you!

Shane slowly lowers his head and presses his lips against Jillian's. They stand in the middle of the living room kissing when Jillian pulls away.

Jillian - No! ... I can't keep doing this!

Shane - What?

Jillian - One minute were fighting, and then were making up ... I mean you're not gone but you're not here ... At least that's the way it seems tonight ... I don't know what we are anymore ... I'm confused!

Shane - I know its been crazy these last few weeks but if we could try to end these wars I know that we can make it right ... 'Cause baby I love you!

Jillian - But I don't wanna fight no more ... I forgot what we were fighting for ... And this loneliness that's in my heart won't let me be apart from you ... But I can't keep doing this.

Shane - Well I don't wanna have to try ... Girl to live without you in my life. So I'm hoping we can start tonight ... 'Cause I don't want to fight no more

Jillian - I don't think this is a good idea! ... Maybe you should leave!

Shane - Maybe you shouldn't think ... And besides how can I leave ... When everything that I adore, and everything I'm living for ... Girl it's in you!

Jillian walks over to the couch and Shane follows her. Jillian sits down, curls up and rests her head on the arm rest of the couch. Shane puts his arms around her.

Jillian - You're right! ... I'm just crazy! ... I mean I can't dream, sleepless nights have got me bad ... And well ... The only dream I ever had is begin' with you.

Shane - You see ... I know that we can make it right ... It's gonna take a little time ... Now come here!

Shane moves his arms from around Jillian and she moves and rests her head against Shane's chest. Shane moves Jillian's hair out of her face and kisses the top of her head.

Shane - Let's not leave ourselves with no way out ... Let's not cross that line.

Jillian - That line?

Shane moves and Jillian raises her head so that she is looking right into his eyes. Shane looks at Jillian and smile.

Shane - Remember that I made a vow ... That I would never let you go

Jillian - I remember ...

Shane - Well I meant it then, I mean it now and I want to tell you so ... I don't wanna fight no more because its all lies with out you

Jillian rests her head back on Shane's chest and close her eyes.

Jillian - Without you!
