Jill: Melissa, we will meet you on the ship. We want to go over to this little shop and look around, okay?
Melissa: Yeah that’s fine. I will meet you in the rooms later. Bye.
Melissa started walking up to the ship. She started to walk around the deck going towards the cabins when all of a sudden she smashed into someone and fell down.
The Person: I am so sorry. Are you okay? I did not mean to do that, it's just that I did not see you there. Here let me help you up.
Melissa looked up to see a handsome man with his hand extended to help her up. She grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.
Melissa: Thank you. Well I should be going. Maybe I will see you later sometime.
The Person: I definitely would not mind running into you again.
Melissa started walking again. She really hoped that maybe she would run into him again.
Later that night, as Melissa was getting out of the shower she heard a knock at the door. She put on her housecoat and opened the door to see the guy that she had ran into the day before.
Melissa: ... Hi.
The Person: So we meet again. Since fate keeps throwing us together, I guess I should tell you my name. It’s JC.
Melissa: Hi JC. My name is Melissa.
JC: Well it is pleasure to meet you.
JC takes Melissa’s hand in his and raises it to his lips. He kisses it softly. Melissa starts to blush.
JC: Well the reason that I came over here was to ask you if you have any motion sickness pills because my friend Lance cannot handle the motion of the ocean.
Melissa: (laughing) Come on in and let me look around.
Melissa begins to look around the room for the pills. She knew that there were some in the room somewhere because her roommate was always prepared. She looked in the night table drawer and found some.
Melissa: I knew we had some. Here you go.
JC: Thank you. Lance will appreciate these very much. I am sure that he would come over to thank you himself if he could actually get out of bed.
Melissa: Well tell him I hope he feels better.
JC: I will. Hey, would you like to maybe go swimming with me?
Melissa: Sure. That sounds like a lot of fun.
JC: Well let me take these to Lance first so that he can return to his normal colour and then I will meet you at the pool in about 20 minutes.
Melissa: That sound great.
20 minutes later, Melissa was waiting at the pool for JC to arrive. She went over to the railing and looked over at the water hitting the side of the boat. All of a sudden JC came up from behind Melissa and grabbed her sides.
JC: Don’t jump.
Melissa: You scared me.
JC: I am sorry. I just could not resist myself.
Melissa: It is okay. So how is your friend Lance?
JC: He is feeling better but I don’t think that my other friend Justin will ever be able to look at Lance the same again.
Melissa: That bad?
JC: His new best friend is the toilet. But let's not talk about him. Why don’t you tell me about yourself?
Melissa: What would you like to know?
JC: Everything.
Melissa: I live in Hamilton, Ontario, I have a little brother and I am on this trip with my three best friends. Now tell me about yourself.
JC: Want would you like to know and be more specific then I was.
Melissa: Okay. What does JC stand for?
JC: It stands for Joshua Chasez.
Melissa: Oh.
Melissa did not know what to say anymore. All she could think of was how much she wanted to kiss JC but she could never do something like that because she was too shy.
Melissa: So JC.
JC put his finger to her lips and then leaned in and kissed her.
JC: I am sorry. It is just that you looked so beautiful sitting there, I had to kiss you.
Melissa: It’s okay. I was just trying to think of a way to get you to kiss me.
JC: Well I guess that means you won’t mind if I do it again.
Melissa: Go right ahead.
JC kisses her again.
Melissa: I am definitely beginning to like this.
JC: So am I.
They continued to kiss for a very long time. JC pulls his head away and stares into Melissa’s eyes. He begins to smile.
JC: Let’s go for a walk.
Melissa: Excuse me? I wasn’t paying attention to what you were saying.
JC: What were you paying attention to?
Melissa: The way that your eyes sparkle when you smile.
JC: Wow. I did not know that they did that.
JC leans closer to her and kisses her again.
Melissa: How about we just stop wasting time by talking and kiss all night.
JC: Sounds like a good idea but I think that we should go for a walk so I can cool off a little.
Melissa: (laughing) Okay.
The two of them stand and start walking around on the ship.
Melissa: It is getting late. I think that I should go back to my room. My roommate is probably worried about me.
JC: All right. I guess I can take you back to your room. That just won’t be as much fun.
Melissa: As what?
JC: I guess you will never know.
JC takes hold of Melissa’s hand and they start to walk to her door. They arrive at Melissa’s door.
Melissa: Well I guess that this is goodbye.
JC: Just until tomorrow because I will make sure I am the first person that you see when you wake up. Um... I mean, outside of your room.
Melissa: Well then I will see you in the morning.
Melissa leans in and kisses JC.
JC: Well the least I can do is walk you into your room.
The two of them walk into the room and Melissa looks around.
Melissa: I guess that my roommate is not back yet. She must have been lucky like me and met some really hot guy.
JC: Did you meet someone else that I do not know about because if you did I will fight him for you.
Melissa: I was talking about you but I feel special that you would do that for me.
JC: I’d do anything for you.
JC put his arms around Melissa and moves his head closer to hers.
JC: I think that I better stay here until your roommates comes back. You know, just to be on the safe side. You never know what types of people are on these ships. There are some people who might take advantage of a beautiful girl like you.
Melissa: I am so glad that you are not one of them.
JC: You never know, I might enjoy taking advantage of you.
Melissa: Really.
The two of them begin to kiss. Melissa puts her arms around JC's neck. The two of them fall backwards on the bed and continue to kiss passionately.
Lissa: Well, are we interrupting something.
JC and Melissa look up from where they are lying on the bed to see Melissa’s roommate Lissa with JC's friend Justin standing behind her.
Melissa sits up and buttons the top button of her shirt up.
Melissa: I did not hear you come in.
Justin: We gathered that.
Justin walks over to JC and whispers in his ear.
Justin: Wait to go, man.
Lissa: Sorry for interrupting. We will leave now and the two of you can get back to whatever you were doing. And don’t worry Melissa, I will make up an excuse for you so the two of you can sleep in tomorrow. Bye.
Lissa and Justin leave the room. Melissa walks closer to the bed, which JC is still laying on.
Melissa: I am so sorry. I did not know that she was going to walk in on us.
JC: Don’t worry about it. Just think, now we can stay in bed as long as we want.
Melissa goes to hit JC but he pulls her down with her arm and they continue what they were doing before they were interrupted.
